23.01.2022 We would like to wish all of our Year 12 students that are sitting their English Exam today Good Luck! You've all prepared the best you can, get ready to slay your exams! Positive Mind, Positive Vibes!

23.01.2022 I would like to thank all families and staff for their engagement with the 2021 subject selection process this term. We have had presentation evenings, subject videos on the school website, course counselling sessions and TEAMS meetings to complete, what is already a challenging process but with Remote Learning on top of this, the support from you has made it a great success. The next layer of work for us is to create a timetable and the careers team have begun contacting s...ome students to make some minor adjustments to subject selections. By November, we should have a much clearer idea of the College timetable and should have 2021 timetables available in early December. There will also be course sign-off days towards the end of term to make refinements to these 2021 timetables for students. More information will be available in Term 4. Again thanks for your continued support and feedback." Scott McDonald Pathways and Transitions Leader

19.01.2022 Every year on 3 December, people around the world take part in International Day of People with Disability (IDPwD). It is a day to celebrate the achievements of people with disability and promote awareness, understanding and acceptance in our community. IDPwD encourages students to have conversations about the challenges experienced by people with disability and talk about ways to be more inclusive. Here at Bellarine Secondary College, we will be celebrating by holding a lunch tomorrow, as well as sharing awareness during our timetable classes to continue these conversations among our cohort.

12.01.2022 On Wednesday 4th November, and Monday 9th November each of our Year 10 Marine Science classes had the opportunity to go out on a Snorkel Excursion to see the Seals. Lily Molloy, a Year 10 student who was able to attend on Wednesday took footage of their day and created a video and has kindly shared it with us. It looks like it was an incredible day, and all the students had a great experience.

06.01.2022 During this period of remote learning we are all staying at home more, young people are spending more time online than they may otherwise. This makes it an ideal time to be reminding children about the importance of online safety. We encourage you to remind your children to speak to you or someone they trust if they see something online that makes them feel uncomfortable or unsafe. We also encourage you to interact with the resources below to find out more about ensuring the ...online space is as safe as possible. There are some really great resources available out there that can support us to learn about the ins and outs of online content and interaction, and specifically about the variety of social media platforms that young people are currently engaging with.
