12.01.2022 Bellingen Markets will go ahead this Saturday. My personal reasons for doing so are.... markets are the sole income for many stallholders and several markets h...ave been cancelled. Also I feel, at a time like this, people may benefit from the social contact and community spirit of Bellingen Markets. As shown on the RFS website (https://www.rfs.nsw.gov.au/fire-information/fires-near-me) there are no fires from Bellingen to the coast however there is lots of smoke. RFS suggests you check out the Live Traffic NSW site (https://www.livetraffic.com/desktop.html) for the latest road and highway changes. Please come prepared and stay well hydrated. Your safety and well-being is of paramount importance !! If the situation changes drastically and the market is cancelled between now and then, we will place another post on Facebook. My thoughts and well wishes are with you all. Stay safe, optimistic and pray for rain (even on Saturday!)
