24.01.2022 Came across this fab little visual for hand washing - let's help our small ones ensure that a thorough job is done!

23.01.2022 A big, warm, happy World Voice Day to you! Never take your voice for granted. Voice is a complex and intricate mechanism, and is affected by so many health factors - exercise, hydration, habits of use, respiration, the size and shape of your vocal tract, and many more. I love working with clients to optimise their vocal hygiene, improve the quality and efficiency of their voice use, and to modify their voice if they do not feel it corresponds with their identity.

22.01.2022 Once you incorporate visuals, you'll never go back. Visual cueing can have a dramatic effect on engagement, comprehension, performance, regulation, and anxiety. 13.01.2022 And just like that, somehow, it's time for my second round of maternity leave. I am endlessly proud of all my clients and their families for the progress we've made together, however big or small. I'm also hugely thankful to everyone who has been so open to trying out different service delivery arrangements in these recent, challenging times. Going on leave feels bittersweet, but I'm looking forward to seeing you all again in the new year. For now, it's time to wait for ou...r newest little bird. I'll be back at it in January of 2021, and will be contacting all existing clients to make arrangements in December. All inquires can now be directed to [email protected]. Can't wait to share our news!

12.01.2022 To all the parents stressing... remember, your house doesn't have to look like a strict boarding school! Engaging activities (like those below) can be worked into your day casually and keep your kids' minds active. Write up a little schedule for the day and have fun!

09.01.2022 This is fantastic - Scholastic have created an online learning website for a range of ages, to help carry education and stimulation into the home in these uncertain times.

08.01.2022 Hi everyone, From this week I have switched all current appointments to Telehealth where possible. I will be keeping clients updated on arrangements and taking all recommendations for social distancing very seriously to ensure everyone is kept as safe as possible. Thanking everyone for their flexibility - we need to work together on this one.

03.01.2022 Today is World Autism Awareness day. I take such pleasure in helping my clients on the spectrum communicate in a world which might not always understand. I've met so many wonderful people and families living with Autism who light up the world.

01.01.2022 Sending a bit of extra love to my fellow speechies/allied health professionals navigating how to restructure business and therapy in this tricky time.
