14.01.2022 When purchasing fertile eggs, it’s imperative to ask questions about the storage, collection, selection and postage of these eggs. Postage of fertile eggs can allow Australia the ability to diversify our genetics and improve our breeds. However, buying fertile eggs can be a risky process, but these risks can be heavily reduced when proper processes are taken. Important questions you should ask your breeders are: 1) how are the eggs stored before postage? 2) how are they pack...aged for postage? 3) how do you select the best eggs or do you just post every egg laid? 4) do you have proper breeding cages set up to ensure you are definitely posting the eggs that are advertised? We hope we can answer these questions for our processes with the visual representations attached.
