21.01.2022 A regular customer of ours called to book his HSV with engine lights on the dash and constant engine misfire. Scanning the ecu revealed the problem was in the injector circuit on cylinder 6 so the labscope was used to confirm injector control from the ecu drivers and fuel pressure drops where measured to confirm the integrity of the remaining 7 injectors. It pays to have the right tools in diagnosis to avoid unnecessary parts replacement.
