13.01.2022 Bellbowrie Men's Shed temporarily closed. Due to a local case of Covid-19 reported at Fairview Nursing Home, the potential for local community transmissions is unknown at this stage. 05.01.2022 MP Julian Simmons visited our shed and made these comments: "It was a pleasure to meet with members of the Bellbowrie Mens Shed yesterday to tour their facility, see the projects they are working on and answer their questions. There is something for everyone at this shed: woodwork, leatherwork, a library, photography and more. I look forward to seeing what they come up with next!"

04.01.2022 Hope you've read our news letters as limited openings are back for selected activities. Still not safe to have meetings unless with zoom unfortunately. Rick is keen to hear any gardeners wishing to help out. Leather, the Library and woodworking is possible also. Government guidelines about procedures for Covid19 inforced.

01.01.2022 The Bellbowrie Men’s Shed has lost one of our longer serving members. Paul Smeaton passed away on 8 June 2020. Paul was 84 years of age. Paul was one of our original members and whilst ill health prevented him from attending on a regular basis over the past few years, he remained a financial member. Before retirement one of Paul's roles was a purchasing officer for Ansett at Brisbane airport. One legacy that Paul has left for our Shed is the picnic table he made and donated to the Shed. The photo highlights the table that is usually full of seated members when the shed is open. Our thoughts are with Robyn and the family during this sad time.
