25.01.2022 Benitoite doing a great job in her first prep now 4 wins from 6 starts. The Americain filly is from the Scenic daughter The Gem a mare we purchased from the Great Southern Sale in foal to Toronado. After foaling a colt she was put in foal to Magnus & foaled another colt here. Post foaling The Gem developed a colon torsion & proceeded to surgery which went well but as can happen she broke a leg in recovery. Her Magnus colt was successfully fostered that day thanks to fellow breeder Ellie Giles & hes grown into a big strong colt. Theres always a silver lining.

25.01.2022 We often are hoping for colts but with mums 1/2 sister Candle Smoke producing the speedy Electric Light this Demerit filly is looking pretty good. Only few hrs old.

24.01.2022 Day 1 of the Perth Magic Millions saw these 2 lovely colts by Magnus & Snippetson selling for $87500 to Vern Brockman & $110 000 to Parnham racing. Good luck with these lovely individuals.

23.01.2022 What a debut. Reign of fire romps in at his first start today at Belmont. He was an 18k purchase from our 2019 Magic Millions draft by the late Trade Fair. He looks to have a very bright future. Congratulations to all connections.

22.01.2022 Congratulations to the connections of Lyles Choice a very stylish win in Bunbury yesterday after 2 placings in his first 2 starts. His 1/2 relation by the exciting G1 winning 2yo Vert De Grece is still available as a passed in lot from the Sales. A beautifully conformed filly with great X Ray & scope. Passed in at 20k. Negotiable.

22.01.2022 A visiting mare obligingly foaled her Uni Ruler filly under the floodlights then casually rested for 20 min whilst her new foal found its feet. Standing 20 min just as a thunderstorm arrived. Thats the 4th foal in 24 hrs.

21.01.2022 Reading the new Sunspeed magazine and one of our babies has her picture on page 2. This gorgeous Blackfriars filly from a 3 time winning Lonhro mare will go to the 2019 yearling sales. Shes a ripper.

Lot 321 by Vert de Grece an outstanding filly & now a 1/2 to 2 winners with Ohbeeh winning at his first start. Lot 327 an early running type by Demerit closely related to Electric light. Ready for inspection 15/2 at the Swan valley MM complex.

18.01.2022 Another foaling season begins. Lovely filly by Vert De Grece from a multiple metro winner by Danetime.

18.01.2022 Some lovely foals arriving. This colt is already an athlete at 4 days old. Gingerbread man from Miss Margene by Flying Spur. His Galah 1/2 brother 2 yo is getting rave reviews on the track. Not a ready made 2 yo but a tough, competitive, natural racehorse.

17.01.2022 After a few ups & downs lately our foster mare & her Magnus colt are thriving. Thanks again to fellow breeder Ellie Giles for the use of her mare after her own loss.

Hes found his talent under the guidance of Emily Gray & has excelled in comparison to his deeds on the racetrack.

16.01.2022 A quick trip to the Gold Coast resulted in a new mare to add to the ranks.

16.01.2022 An important update for this Vert De Grece filly for the Magic Millions sale. Her 1/2 brother Ohbeeh ( Sessions ) winning on debut at Bunbury yesterday. The 3 yo gelding had posted trial wins before his impressive run leading from barrier to post. His dam Can time won 4 races with 3 wins in succession at metro level. She now has 2 to race both winners. Her sire a 2 yo Gr 1 winner. Foaled on 7/8 she looks an early runner.

15.01.2022 Vert De Grece / Lady Kiseki. Very happy with both of my Vert De Grece foals. Both fillies but classy. Winx after all is a female as are many of our best racehorses.

14.01.2022 New arrival in Vic, one day old. Toronado colt from The Gem by Scenic. The result is better than I could have ever hoped for. Elated.

12.01.2022 The weanlings are all branded & microchipped for another year. We have 4 by Vert De Grece & they are all fillies but couldnt be happier with their correct confirmation & great temperaments. 2 are grey & 2 Bay. If he can emulate the feats of his sire Verglas we will have some tough , sound racehorses. They have a bit more scope as an added bonus.

12.01.2022 Toronado has had his debut Australian winner from the Paul Messara stable. He continues to sell well in the sales with Patrick Hogan going to 250k to purchase a son through the Karaka sale ring.

12.01.2022 We thought our good producer Arcade Game deserved an upgrade after the Prolific winners Tommy who , Korenica & Pinball Wizard and has a 3 day old Magnus colt. Easily her best boned & may forward foal at the same stage.

09.01.2022 A small consolation after losing the mare after foaling a lovely Magnus colt last year. Her Americain filly winning on her race debut.

07.01.2022 Runs to Paradise with her Patronise filly. First foal of the well related Sepoy mare. The glut of grass we have now makes me feel even more sympathetic to our fellow breeders in the east who are in the grip of a severe drought.
