23.01.2022 When you say g'day to your neighbour over the fence and come home with a bowl of fresh, juicy, chemical free limes from their garden... love the neighbourliness!!

22.01.2022 A big hand to our 2020 Hall committee. We had to put our wonderful Country Dances on hold and have worked against the odds to keep the hall going on a tight budget during these uncertain times. Thanks to Council Covid-19 grants, the hall is as covid safe as possible and ready for the next community event. The last one was our happy Christmas in July now August, watch this space...

13.01.2022 Well Hello Did you know that this Saturday the 8th of August is only three sleeps away? We have a local band called the Saxy Keys n Strings trio ... playing live music for us from 4:30pm to 7:30pm who are well know around town for their great foot tapping music. Now did you know that we are still going to have a little treat for our little ones even though Santa may not make it? So make sure you bring them along from 3pm on. Mr Whippy's is going to show up to make sure we don't go without our sweet treats!! We also hope to see Marty Hunt (State member for Nicklin), who is sponsoring our live music and David Law (Local member for Div 10) turn up and spend some time with us, so come along for a chat with them. Don't forget that we have an exciting lot of raffle prizes with the kind donations of some of our local businesses such as Kenilworth Hotel, Free Ranging Chef, Tucker-BelliDowns and a gift voucher from Bunnings for all you DIY folks. Our local Belli Park Rural Fire Brigade will keep us warm with toasty bonfires, but if you feel the cold, do bring a blanket. So spread the word, bring a friend, bring your own food and beverages of choice and expect to meet the locals and have a great time.

09.01.2022 A lovely lovely evening at the Hall on Saturday night. Whilst we could have coped with many more people, the turn out was great! The priceless expression on the kid faces when Santa turned up in the fire truck, the amazing band and music had some of us up on our feet (with appropriate COVID separation), the toasty warm fires which kept us there till the very end. Can't wait for the next social event. Thank you Marty Hunt MP and his beautiful wife Kelly who graciously sponso...red the band and spent quality time with the locals. Thank you to Kenilworth Hotel, Free Ranging Chef, Tucker-BelliDowns and Elvira's Cottage Crafts for sponsoring the raffle prizes. A BIG SHOUT OUT to our volunteers who helped make the night a spectacular night, from loaning us gazebos to setting up, cleaning and taking everything down.

Here it is: The Stump Jump Bush Band members have been playing old-time country dances around South East Queensland for more than 40 years in various groups. The current lineup has won interstate Bush Band Competitions, performed at the Winton Waltzing Matilda Centenary celebrations as well as the inaugural Gympie Country Music Muster. Their clever blend of traditional lively bush tunes played on traditional Aussie instruments accompanying all of your ‘old-favourite ‘ dances, guarantees a fun night for the whole family .
