02.01.2022 Well done to the Bats that attended the Far North Coast Zone Carnival at Ballina yesterday. We had a small but dedicated team of 5 and all swam well. In individual events we picked up 2nds & 3rds, including Helen & Peter. Amanda & Spider made the semi finals of the 50M Handicap Freestyle and Amanda made the final, but ate too many red frogs & snakes and busted! Mike multitasked between timing events and swimming events.... We borrowed swimmers from Lismore to make up our 10 Person Relay and Spider swam first & last!... We were very excited to achieve 3rd in the Championship Event...First time ever to win a place in this!.. Awesome team! Thank you to Spider for organising the weekend and Mike for the driving.
