20.01.2022 Year 10 Work Experience, Week 2 Demi, Sam and James have been hard at work with National Parks. They have covered hazard reduction burn planning in Ulidarra National Park, post fire assessments in Mt Hyland, cultural site audits in Bindarri National Park, set up Little Tern fencing at Sawtell, maintained the summit walking track at Mt Hyland and finished the week out on Macauley's Headland doing weed control.

18.01.2022 Congratulations to Year 11 students Kristin and Lillie who celebrated graduating from Southern Cross University's Headstart Program by enjoying lunch at the Old Butter Factory. Successfully completing the fee-free Headstart program and Year 12 studies allows students to gain direct entry into a Southern Cross University undergraduate course. Applications are currently open for 2021 intake.

13.01.2022 Year 10 Work Experience Special times for Lily, Lydia and Katia. What a lovely write up from Chrysalis Steiner School: "Welcoming back Alumni for our Leaving Class of 2018...... This fortnight Bellingen High School Year 10 students are undertaking a range of work experience placements in the Bellingen Shire and beyond. Chrysalis is fortunate enough to welcome back three alumni students from the Class 8 of 2018. Lydia, Lily and Katia will be placed in different classes each week whilst they are here in order to gain a variety of experiences. They will spend time in River Song, Class 1, Class 2 and Class 4 and are looking forward to getting involved with the music program also! Have a look at the photos below to see the Year 10 work experience students helping out Class 2 with their craft during lunch today and 6 years earlier - almost to the day! - of the same three students in their Class 4 play... It is wonderful to see the maturity of these students and heartening to think that they could be our next generation of teachers!" See more
