17.01.2022 To all players wanting to play in the Coffs Harbour 3x3 tournament these upcoming holidays. Please complete your registration by going to the following website;... https://www.3x3hustle.com/hustle-pass-2/ Make sure you sign-up for the ‘Baller Pass’ registration so players have a hustle uniform. Please do this before the 27th of September as it takes 5-7 days for uniforms to be sent in the post from Melbourne. Once a player has their hustle ID they can then create and enter their own team, or email; [email protected] with the players name, rego ID, and age group. I will then place them into a team to enter the tournament. There will now also be a 10 and under age group for the tournament. This will be for all players born in 2010 & 2011. If you are having any troubles registering a player or a team, please contact Jaele from NBL Hustle at: [email protected]

16.01.2022 3X3 Hustle Pass To play in the NBL 3X3 Hustle Competitons, players will require a hustle pass. There are 2 different versions of the player pass - Rookie & Ball...er. Rookie is $10 and only covers player insurance for 6 months. The Baller pass is $80 but is great value for money as players receive so much more vs the Rookie Pass. Baller pass will cover: - Insurance (12 months) - Official NBL 3X3 reversible uniform (Value $69.95) - 3X3 Basketball (Value $60) - Year subscription to NBL league pass that will show all Australian basketball games - NBL, Boomers, Opals, even some European games (Value $60) - Prizes based on your 3x3Hustle event ranking pts. - Invitation to play in exclusive 3x3Hustle events If players are wanting to play in consistent competitions, I recommend the Baller Pass as its great value for money, and will mean players can switch teams easily as they will all have the same uniforms. Players will also be invited to play in exclusive 3X3 events. For players who choose the Rookie Pass - you will need to organise for all players to have matching uniforms (shorts + jerseys) and won't be able to compete in exclusive 3X3 events without the hustle uniform. This pass will need to be refreshed every 6 months. For more information about the passes, please visit https://www.3x3hustle.com/hustle-pass-2/

11.01.2022 COVID-19 - North Coast Shield 2020 We know you’re all excited to be back to the basketball courts again and we are extremely lucky to be able to bring you a com...petition in 2020. To be COVID Safe we need your help! Our COVID plan has been approved by NSW Govt and we’re working with each venue to ensure we have everything covered to keep us all safe and our competition running. If you need to ask questions about the below, then the answer should most likely be NO! If you try to find loopholes in the below, then the answer should most likely be NO! Please do the right thing, the last thing we want to do is be forced to ban specific people or worse, be forced to say NO SPECTATORS. The North Coast Shield COVID Plan may have different elements from your local association. That’s perfectly fine, this is our plan and we are responsible for keeping our participants safe when playing North Coast Shield. We don’t want to be fined for not complying with government regulations or have the competition cancelled. Thanks in advance for your cooperation with the below. 1. If you are unwell, please stay at home. 2. Maximum of 1 parent/carer per playing child. Please make other arrangements for non-playing children in advance. We don’t want to have to turn you away at the front door. 3. Sign-in at the entrance and hand sanitise each time you enter the stadium and when you exit after each game. Please socially distance when queuing at the entrance and exit. 4. Game and warm-up balls will be supplied. No basketballs are to be bought to the venue, inside or outside. Please leave them at home, we don’t want to confiscate your basketballs so please don’t bring them. 5. All teams and spectators must exit the stadium immediately after their game to allow for surfaces to be cleaned prior to the following game. Please take all your belongings with you when leaving the stadium. 6. Each team will be allocated a marquee to gather as a team between games. Parents may remain in the same area as the team but must be socially distanced 1.5mtrs. BYO camp chair or blanket to sit on. Teams are not permitted inside the stadium when they aren’t playing. 7. Please follow the instructions of the COVID officers on the day. Be respectful and if asked to move, please do so. 8. Most importantly please remember our North Coast Shield committee and all our carnival day helpers are Volunteers who give up their time to make it possible for kids to play the sport we all love. Take the time to say thank you when you see them. We’re looking forward to a great Sunday in Byron Bay. See you all there

06.01.2022 Shooting is what I obsessed over the most as a player. If you can consistently knock down an open jump shot, guard your man, and play a team game, you will play... minutes. How much do you study your jump shot? Do you film yourself? Do you consistently talk to yourself as to why you missed? Do you get up hundreds of shots a day? Do you want to become a better shooter and defensive player? If the answer is yes, then come to tomorrow’s shooting and 1v1 camp at Sportz Central. Players will have their shots filmed and analysed to assist with teaching points, and finish the day with competitive 1v1 game play with defence being the key focus.
