22.01.2022 Final Roasts El Salvador El Borbollon Espresso. This coffee comes from the Alvarez brothers, who are fourth-generation coffee producers. Their two farms are located at 1,400-1,500 metres above sea level, on the hills of Santa Ana, where rich volanic soil and mild climate provide ideal conditions for growing speciality coffee. Unlike most producers in El Salvador, the Alvarezes have their own wet and dry mills. This enables them to separate and process their coffees by vari...ety and picking day, giving them the ability to better influence the quality in the cup. A cracking single origin espresso, the El Borbollon brews with hints of chocolate and toasted almonds, balanced with molasses sweetness. 10.01.2022 We're super excited to welcome back Finca Parritilla to our coffee line-up! This coffee was produced by William Mora Merno in Costa Rica's the highly prized Tarrazu region. 06.01.2022 The Brewista Smart Pour Kettle is what we use to brew pour over coffee in our cafes (and at home). The LCD display allows you to select the exact temperature you want to brew with, and the kettle takes it there for you. The positioning and shape of the spout give the kettle a low centre of gravity allowing for great control when pouring. The handle is smooth and comfortable to hold, and the 1.2 litre capacity is large enough to brew coffee or tea for the whole family. We love these scales for their accuracy and durability- and the built-in timer is extremely handy. These scales aren't just good for brewing coffee, though. 03.01.2022 For all the espresso drinkers, we currently have two delicious single-origin offerings: Brazil Matas De Minas, it tastes like sweet hazelnut and milk chocolate, with hints of yellow fruits, and El Salvador El Borbollón, which has notes of dark chocolate, almonds and molasses. We’ve carefully roasted these coffees for stovetop and espresso brewing, and they’re great with or without milk. Enjoy!
