24.01.2022 A warning to everyone who has an email address......... We sent this warning out some time ago but thought it was timely to remind everyone again. If you ever receive an email from Australia Post or another delivery company and it has an attachment on it be very very careful. Whether you are or not expecting a delivery tread very carefully.... More than likely it is Malware and could very well be the nasty Cryptolocker malware. This malware is not detectable by most antivirus programs still. Once activated from the attachment it will find all your personal files and encrypt them. The scammers then hold you to ransom and say you must pay a fee, usually significant, to get the files decrypted. We have yet to hear of anyone who has paid the demand and had their files decrypted and recovered. It is therefore a lose lose situation for you. Australia Post and other delivery companies will usually send you a link to their website not an attachment to an email. But the majority of the time if you miss a delivery they will leave a calling card at your address. Please let us know if you have been affected. And please feel free to share this with your contacts.

21.01.2022 We would like to remind everyone that if you get an unsolicited call from "your internet provider" or from the NBN or from "Telstra who runs all the internet in Australia", its highly likely that these are scammers whose aim it is to take money from you. Generally speaking if there is any issues with your internet service or if someone is using your Internet service improperly then your ISP will disconnect you.. they will not ring you and ask you to do things on your comput...er. They will just disconnect your service which forces you to call them. We really hate to hear when people get caught up in these scams and lose money to these people.. but the only thing we can think of doing to help is to get the message out there as much as possible..... So feel free to share this message to ALL your friends.... hopefully it will save someone from embarrassment, financial loss and a feeling of being exposed in their own home.......

20.01.2022 We all get tempted or have shared that post saying we will be in the draw for 1 million Qantas frequent flyer points or 1 of 200 Apple iPads that have been packaged wrong or even the Audi A4 that some company is going to give you just for sharing that post...... what the???? Any of these types of posts are all just scams or hoaxes. Apple did not get rich by giving away products and QANTAS will be more than happy to give you FF points. ......If you spend money with t...hem. Dont be fooled with those types of messages they are all hoaxes....

Whatever you do dont click on the link in an SMS like this. A legitimate delivery issue will cause the company to email you or ring you not send an SMS like this.....

06.01.2022 Has your computer upgraded you to Windows 10 without you prompting it? If so, you have 4 weeks to revert it back to your original Windows operating system fairly easily. You can search for "Settings" in Cortana then click on "Update and Security" Then click on the Recovery option on the left. Then follow the prompts to revert it back to your original Windows. Having said that Windows 10 is now at a stage where it is fairly stable and reliable. So why not give it a go. Its Free till July 29, 2016. Contact us now if you would like to know more.
