24.01.2022 I just found out from Optus that they did a system upgrade a few weeks ago and inadvertently turned our message bank/voicemail on to answer after 3 or 4 rings and to divert if we are busy. Now we know why the phone rings and stops before we get to answer it or pick it up to have no-one there... or indeed people have said they left a message but we didn't call back and we were a bit confused, as the answering machine here hasn't been switched on. So, if you have called us in ...the last few weeks and left a message and we didn't call back, we are very sorry, we didn't know you had left a message, as their system wasn't giving us the special dial tone to tell us we had messages either...... should be all fixed this afternoon! They are trying to recover the messages so we can see who has called, see how that goes... Again, sorry if you have called and we didn't call back, not ignoring calls or whatever, just a technical hick-up...

22.01.2022 AAAA is concerned about reports that Police are advising some motorists that automotive is not an essential service during lockdown in Victoria. The Victorian G...overnment has confirmed that automotive service is essential to households. Our advice to AAAA members is to send an SMS to your customers with the following wording: "We can confirm that we are still open during Stage 3 restrictions in Victoria in line with essential service requirements. The Minister for Police has now formally confirmed that Victorians can engage in movement associated with the service and repair of their vehicle." See more

21.01.2022 Back at the track for the 2020 season!Our very own Jess is running in this years E30 Racing Series, as well as looking after Alex, Rod, Simon, Gavin and Stuart and everyone else. Bit of a wet qualifying and looking like a wet race 1. Been a busy few weeks getting them all ready but race day is finally here. Rod passed his OLT yesterday and is looking forward to racing this year. There will be a few more coming on board this year with the E30 series, we have another 3 of 4... cars getting ready to start racing soon. Looking forward to a great 2020. Good luck everyone! 17.01.2022 Great weekends racing done and another year underway. The weather was a bit challenging all weekend, starting with Friday being so hot before the rain came and almost washed out the day. Saturday was a bit more like the depths of winter with non stop drizzle and rain. But then Sunday was beautiful, apart from a bit of wind. Everyone drove to the conditions all weekend and very happy there are no panels to be repaired, pretty good considering the rain and lots of close racin...g. Very proud of all our drivers, Rod did well in his first race meeting after passing his licence on Friday, father and son duo of Gavin and Stuart had some great racing, with Stuart coming out on top in the family competition. Alex had a run of thirds until a possible gearbox problem ended his day on the last lap of the last race leaving Simon to take out third for the weekend. But especially Jess, returning to the series and mixing it with some seasoned drivers and acquitting herself very well. Qualifying in 9th and a 9th and two 7th places ended up 6th for the weekend. A fantastic effort and showing the talents learned from watching her brothers before her. With a new engine in the pipeline and more experience through the year, she will be one to watch. Bring on Round 2 at Winton in March. See more

13.01.2022 In the absense of motorsport at the moment, visit our website to read Jess' wrap up of round 1 of the BMW E30 Racing - Garagistic BMW Driver's Cup. Hopefully we'll be able to return to the track later this year to finish the 2020 championship.

08.01.2022 Funny story for the day. Customer calls to say he’s coming in with his car on the back of an racv tilt tray. Yep no worries, see you soon. Customer calls back half an hour later, pissing himself. ... Do we have a drum we can put some diesel in and come and rescue the racv truck as he’s run out of fuel on the way down to us! So we send Jo off to rescue the racv truck that’s stuck on the side of the road. Hahaha

07.01.2022 Another fantastic result for our cars running in the Winton 12 Hour. Team E30 #1 in 18th place and Team E30 #2 on the podium again with second place! A fantastic effort by all in the two teams. Huge thank you to the BMWDCM members that came all the way to Winton to help the Teams. Awesome effort by all! 06.01.2022 Following on from treating Nigel the Cooper S to ceramic paint protection last week, just used another new product on the headlights on our workhorse, Helga. Should have taken a before pic, but we all know how yellow and crappy the poly headlights go on modern cars. Have a look now! Like brand new. Amazing technology around now and we may soon be an agent for one of the worlds best systems, if negotiations go well.
