13.01.2022 It is 100 years today since the first Wood Badge course for Adult Leaders was held in Gilwell Park, UK. Since then we estimate that 35,000 Australian Leaders ha...ve earned the Wood Badge, entitling them to wear the Wood Badge two beads and the Gilwell scarf featuring the MacLaren Tartan. Baden-Powell was keen to ensure that through the training, adults would help carry on the aims of the Movement for future generations. How will you be celebrating the Wood Badge Centenary? See more
