14.01.2022 It’s going to be Virtually Dangerous in 2021 The Jan Juc Surf Life Saving Club is pleased to announce that the 2021 Bells Bash Cliff Run and Danger Ocean Swim Series will be virtual events. And while we are disappointed that we won’t get to see you all in person, we are excited to share the details of this re-imagined event with you!... Entries are now open for these events. Simply enter on line, run or swim the required distance anywhere and anytime between 1 January and 26 January and upload your time via your unique entry code. This event is an important fund-raising event for the Jan Juc Surf Life Saving Club. All money raised helps keep our volunteer patrols on the beach at Jan Juc so we can keep our community and visitors safe. Your continued support for this event makes a huge difference to our 100% volunteer service. It’s up to you where and when you complete the course whether it’s the run, the swim or both. You can run around your local park, swim in your local pool, run the streets of your neighbourhood or swim in the ocean or bay near your home you just need to complete your selected distance between 1-26 January 2021 and upload your time. We’ve also added the Virtually Dangerous swim and run courses as Strava segments, so if you are lucky enough to be in Jan Juc during the event period, you can record your swim or run. And if you are a regular entrant in our events and are working your way towards you 10, 20 or 30 year medals the virtual events count towards your years of entry recognition. We’d love your support so please enter now at https://www.registernow.com.au/secure/Register.aspx?E=42085 For more details, including how to stay safe during the virtual event, visit www.janjucsurfclub.com.au
