06.01.2022 Spring has sprung here in Shark Bay. Remote cameras set up by our Nature Conservation team photographed these emu chicks who look to be just out of the egg! The...re are lots of emu chicks of various ages around Denham and Monkey Mia so be sure to watch out for them crossing the roads with their dads. See more

05.01.2022 How many dolphins can you count? It was hard to take a photo of them all at together, but if you guessed 15 you were right! Yesterday afternoon most of the 11 ...regular beach visiting dolphins were inshore joined by a few ‘occasional’ dolphins and even an alliance of males! Most of them were slowly traveling less than a meter from the shore. Note the two in front of the group who were playing chasey though! If you are visiting Monkey Mia in the morning for the dolphin experiences why not plan to stay around as the dolphins can visit anytime of day. Always remember to give them plenty of space and remain on the shore if they are in this close. See more
