Sometimes it looks & feels like the social media world projects perfection, as if anything sub that, is not up to par. Feel me? I think we could all look at many profiles online & wonder what memo we missed, wonder how many maintain their illustrious extravagant lives, have limitless time to do whatever they want when they want, not to mention have an unlimited bank account & pull off looking flawless & in shape 24/7! Don’t worry this isn’t sour grapes it’s a hint of pleasant jealousy & admiration to the real life unicorns out there! BUT for most people, is it really someone's life or simply what they portray? Reflecting on my journey on social media & the message I've always wanted from the get-go is that I genuinely want others to reasonate with the simple but everyday life I live & love. Not a counterfeit life that seems unattainable, because like most of us that’s not my reality & it certainly isn't what my platforms are about I only hope for the 'me too' feels, NOT a 'why don't I have that life' affect. Honesty truly does lead to #authenticity & there is something to be said for those who demonstrate courage & strength in being who the F they truly are & the confidence to show that ... SO I want to say THANKS to ya’ll, 4 allowing me to share 'ME', the good, the bad, the indifferent, the mundane, the everyday & allowing my platforms to be a space where people can count on for encouragement and everyday normality - not one where self-loathing, comparison & despair exists!
