The teachers and students of RODY member class completed 4 different styles of belly dance teaching and learning by zoom classes: classic song, pop song, mejancy and modern fusion (two choreographies of primary level; two of intermediate level), during the lockdown from March to September. 08.01.2022 Wonderful Muwashahat workshop with master @Mohamed Salah from @Reda Troupe. I am so happy to introduced my teacher my friend Salah to Australian dancers and my students. He came to Aus with Reda Troupe in 2016. Now we connected online with him during this pandemic time in 2020. We all love his workshop and hope to see him again in Australia in the near future. This was his first time for online workshop by Zoom, there were some ‘dramatic moments’ but just made the work...shop with more fun. Even though the complexity of the style and choreography, all dancers did great job. Salah was very patient, professional and tried his best to give advices/feedback to each dancer. At the end of the zoom workshop, when we were saying goodbye to each other , to him, Salah was frozen because of the internet.However, we talked afterwards, I delivered all girls’ goodbyeand thank you to him. He said it was very nice to have the workshop with all dancers. Also,he sent the original version of choreography video as a special gift to all dancers who joined his online workshop! (the chore. taught in the workshop is a simplified version which Salah adjusted for the online workshop) I will add the gift to the recording and it will be ready for watching/ reviewing tomorrow!
