25.01.2022 2020 MOST IMPROVED GIRL TIGER Congratulations to Bella Ho-Faithfull for being most improved tiger for 2020! Bella is always happy to be at training and has a positive attitude at every class. This has translated into big improvements in all aspects of taekwondo. Great job Bella!

24.01.2022 Great start to our online junior training sessions with our Maddington Club having 50 taking part in our Junior Session and 9 for our little tigers session, wit...h Grand Master Carmela Hartnett. This follows on from our Belmont club session on Saturday with 35 participants taken by Master Graeme Hartnett. Well done to those who took part. 20.01.2022 JUNE STUDENT OF THE MONTH Congratulations to Kingston Tran who was our June student of the month. Kingston was very eager on his return after our closure, often doing two classes a day in order to make up for lost time. Kingston always shows an eagerness to learn. Great job Kingston!

19.01.2022 JULY STUDENT OF THE MONTH Congratulations to Alayna Xu, the July student of the month. Alayna is in our little tigers program, starting as a 4 year old. When Alayna first started she was shy, often needing her sister or mothers by her side to even enter the door. Now 5.5 years, Alayna has shown remarkable improvement in her self-confidence, enthusiasm and discipline. Not only can she enter the class without assistance, shes always willing to demonstrate her techniques to t...he class, show the white belts their wrist grabs and help new students feel welcomed! Well done Alayna, you should be very proud how far youve come!

Good luck to Country mem...bers grading through the week. Our central Grading's in Maddington and Gosnells saw some 400 grading candidates. Well done to all who participated. 10.01.2022 Grandmaster Ross Hartnett opened our Belmont club in 1980. Grandmaster Carmela Hartnett started her training at our Belmont club, and current Belmont instructor Graeme Hartnett also started his training at Belmont. Many other national and international champions also commenced at Belmont over the years (as well as our other ODK clubs). As such, Youll see many references to the Belmont clubs rich history in these updates to celebrate Oh Do Kwans 40th Anniversary!

03.01.2022 ONLINE CLASSES STARTING. Firstly thank you to the huge amount of students who contacted us by e-mail, facebook and phone wishing us well and showing their suppo...rt for the club. Following our two limited trial online training sessions our Belmont club conducted their first official sessions on Saturday with 35 participants. Maddington Oh Do Kwan will be commencing first two classes on Monday, other clubs will be starting later in the week.
