18.01.2022 The Coffee Club Belmont Forum is the winner of the Judges Award in 27th Belmont & WA Small Business Awards. With hardwork and resilience, they grew the business and in 2016 won a trip to Singapore, after winning an instore ‘smashed avo’ promotion. This led onto winning Franchise of the Year WA. Refurbishments to Belmont Forum meant that the business had to close down, but when reopening finally arrived, Preeti and Bindya, the owners worked around the clock to ensure a smooth ...operation and to re-establish their business with customers. When Covid-19 hit, they were quick to brainstorm ideas on how they could retain business. They quickly joined food delivery services meant that the business could stay afloat during lockdown. Now, the business is operating at 50% of its total seating capacity but has exceeded the year to date sales figures. The Judges Award is supported by Belmont BEC. Belmont BEC established the Belmont Small Business Awards in 1994 to provide recognition and encouragement for the professionalism of small business achievements. The Judges Award was introduced to acknowledge a deserving small business and its notable achievements.
