05.01.2022 This is the most unbelievable thing you have ever seem. You MUST watch until the end. This girl has had some kind of stroke and has lost her ability to speak fluently. Music is a very powerful tool and uses parts of the brain that we dont even understand. Pitch is accurate she even taps into a spot of vibrato. Insanely amazing brain business. Dare to believe.

04.01.2022 Ok for all you music buffs out there who wanna a different perspective and may wanna consider a trip to Japan in 2020 come along and check being a Koala for the night!

02.01.2022 BANDFEST 2019.... Went something like this.... Day was warm-ish....(the sting of summer was evident) Belmont High Junior Band took to the stage. My favorite part is when I look into the sea of faces before me and all the owl eyes are starring (with a look of slight horror).... There were five very good bands in this section (Secondary Intermediate Bands) We played up a storm and score ourselves a Highly Commended (in the Band world this is second place) The weather outside was frightful by this stage and looming towards the 30 degree mark. The year 12 juggernauts arrived and the Belmont High Concert Band took their turn. We were first on out of 6 bands from all over the region. This is the largest Premier Section we have ever competed in and by far the strongest competition ever. A ceremonial chair was left for Abigail Prentice and Kellie Lindus who couldnt play with today! (A moment of solemn and respectful silence please - we missed you). Our pieces Led Zepplin On Tour, Queens Greates Hits and The Incredibles sounded amazing! Winners are Grinners! We smashed it! For the third year in a row! With the departure of year 12 and the wretched HSC Advanced Maths Exam awaiting them all (except for Aleksandr Coe who hung around to play Bari). By now it was a balmy 36 degrees outside and there was no time for lunch We held up our heads and marched onto the stage as the Belmont High Stage Band. This was our very first performance with our year 12 - resetting a whole rhythm section is such a difficult task at the best of time let alone just before a competition. Well done to Molly, Tim and Chloe for smashing it their solos (at short notice). A very respectable Highly Commended was awarded out of the three bands who performed today. Thanks you year 12 for making the effort and making us great today. Thanks to all the mums and dads and supporters who came to cheer us on. Thanks to all the wonderful Band Members of all ensembles, your tireless commitment and dedication to a very life changing and powerful cause, is epic, and WE are so proud to work with you. Thanks to Mr Gill for stage managing today and for salvaging the DrumKit that fell apart on Jack Beeton halfway through our first song. Didnt stop Jack who just kept drumming. A totally awesome day with so many great notes and memories for us all. #teamBHSrocksBNdfest2019 Band Photos to come..... See more

02.01.2022 Mrs Gill’s FB account was hacked today. If you have ever messaged me via FB messenger it is probable that you may have been sent a link to a YouTube Clip with some silly message. Do not click on it or open it. Your account will likely be hacked in a few days. Change your password and log off from all your devices and reset.
