24.01.2022 Great to see so many students back and new students on our first full week of 2021. We have had a total in excess of 160 attendances at classes this week, a great effort!

23.01.2022 Congratulations to those who passed the various Oh Do Kwan Gup Gradings throughout the Perth Metro Area, well over 600 were successful. Good luck to Country mem...bers grading through the week. Our central Grading's in Maddington and Gosnells saw some 400 grading candidates. Well done to all who participated. 21.01.2022 FEB STUDENT OF THE MONTH Congratulations to Jamie Keating, who won our student of the month for Feb 2021. Jamie is in our little tigers program, and has improved his technique substantially since returning for classes this year. He also has outstanding concentration and behaviour. Well done Jamie!

20.01.2022 Club History 2000 Olympic Year part 1.To To celebrate our 40 years anniversary we are posting photos and articles of our history from each year of the 40 years..., this week Part 1 of 2000 before Olympics. 2000 saw our Head Instructor GM Ross Hartnett busy in the role of National Coaching Director and Head coach of the Taekwondo Olympic Athlete Program prior to the Olympics and Head Coach of the Olympic team. GM Carmela Hartnett won her 4th US Open Championships among other competitions. Our son Graeme Hartnett was selected for World Junior Championships along with two other Oh Do Kwan students David Southern and Renae Smith a student of Oh Do Kwan club instructor Dominic Destefano. We also had Cynthia Cameron, John Massiello, Kavita Kumar and Fabian Quaid represent us at either World Cup or Asian Championships in the National team. Many of our own club members won selection to National teams and or won medals at a variety of international & National Competitions. We salute all clubs that made it this long or more and we thank our members and friends worldwide over the 40 years that helped the club to its success.

18.01.2022 JUNE STUDENT OF THE MONTH Congratulations to Kingston Tran who was our June student of the month. Kingston was very eager on his return after our closure, often doing two classes a day in order to make up for lost time. Kingston always shows an eagerness to learn. Great job Kingston!

10.01.2022 JULY STUDENT OF THE MONTH Congratulations to Alayna Xu, the July student of the month. Alayna is in our little tigers program, starting as a 4 year old. When Alayna first started she was shy, often needing her sister or mother’s by her side to even enter the door. Now 5.5 years, Alayna has shown remarkable improvement in her self-confidence, enthusiasm and discipline. Not only can she enter the class without assistance, she’s always willing to demonstrate her techniques to t...he class, show the white belts their wrist grabs and help new students feel welcomed! Well done Alayna, you should be very proud how far you’ve come!

GM Carmela Hartnett won the World Expo in mixed Male/Female division. The club won numerous national Titles Our club members continued to win Medals at International Competitions Including British Open, Malaysia ITCO and World Expo Grand Master Hae Man Park visited our club.
