25.01.2022 The Easey showjumping team are currently looking for a hard working, enthusiastic and reliable person to join our team as a groom. The suitable applicant must b...e confident with all sorts of horses including mares, foals and young horses. They must be physically fit and healthy, able to follow instructions, take pride in their work and be willing to learn. They need to be self-motivated, have initiative, and be able to work with or without supervision. Must be a hard worker and not afraid of long hours. Duties will include: general stable duties including cleaning stables and feeding, exercising horses, preparing horses for competition (plaiting, washing), catching and leading horses, cleaning tack. This is a great opportunity for somebody with experience in the industry to gain further knowledge and learn in a professional showjumping stable. We compete all over Australia and annually travel the eastern side for three months on a show run! We are based at Quipolly NSW 2343. Please contact Ron on 0413591945 if you are interested.

07.01.2022 The following request is from CWA Sir Ivan Bush Fire Appeal. Local people continue to give and give but they will run out of funds eventually. Media has forg...otten Victims already. Please call Govt to task for us. Thank you Hi Sunrise team, Please consider doing the weather segment in the Dunedoo community on location at the Sir Ivan Fires. We need as much media coverage we can get to keep funds coming in to help all our farmers and residents who have been affected by the fires get back on their feet. With over 130000 acres of farm land burnt out, over 5000km fencing destroyed (that's $16 million worth of fencing!) in need of replacing, 35 homes destroyed and over $3 million in livestock losses. Our community needs your help! We currently have BlazeAid in the fire area helping with clean up and re-fencing/building but we need to keep the materials in front of them so they can continue to help. Many of these people who have lost livestock/fencing/homes/stock feed only have farming as their livelihood. Please consider helping us out and coming out to Dunedoo and see the devastation for yourselves and meet the people who have had their lives turned upside down. Sunrise has 1.3 million followers, if everyone donated $1, it would make a huge contribution to getting our community back on their feet.
