16.01.2022 Christmas spirit is burning bright with the team of volunteers who are gearing up to host the ‘Belong at Christmas’ Community Christmas Day lunch events at the Belong Blue Mountains Lower Mountains and Mid Mountains Neighbourhood Centres in Blaxland and Lawson. After the year we have had, getting together to celebrate Christmas will be more meaningful than ever, especially for those who live alone and those who have been experiencing difficult times. We had previously promoted having two different sittings, but now COVID restrictions have eased, we are able to accommodate everyone together in one lunch sitting. 13.01.2022 Belong Blue Mountains had the pleasure of coming together today to celebrate Christmas as a team. Our Finance and IT departments were honoured for their amazing work this year. Getting everyone working from home and navigating Job Keeper were no small feats. We also honoured our fabulous CEO Kath Harrison for her never tiring leadership. Managing to keep the pending award a secret was successful. It has been a year and the whole BBM team have risen to it beautifully. Keeping community at the centre of our work always. Happy silly season!
