25.01.2022 Representing My Wedding Wish

25.01.2022 A VERY special day for me - I married my niece and her husband <3

25.01.2022 I just got these pics through from the lovely Scott and Danni's November wedding on a cruise ship, docked at Portside. It was a very memorable wedding for me, and such a delightful and easygoing couple to "work" for. #findajobyoulove

24.01.2022 Highly recommend Belinda, she was amazing to work with and made the lead up very stress free! She listened to exactly what I wanted and was so helpful! She has ...a lovely friendly personality and makes everyone feel so comfortable! Very laid back and easy going while being professional thank you again! See more

24.01.2022 On Saturday I conducted a naming ceremony for this adorable little fella and his family. "Murphy you were born at 2pm in the afternoon on Thursday 7th June, 2018. You were born into water in the dining room of Kerry and Hoges’ house, which is very special indeed, as it is the house your mum grew up in. In the year since then, you have emerged as a cuddly, chilled out and happy baby who loves exploring outdoors. An old Gaelic name, Murphy means: sea warrior, which is highly ...fitting for a water loving baby such as you. It is also the maiden name of your mum’s grandmother. Your name has been chosen with love, a sense of heritage, and much consideration. We therefore name you Murphy Wyatt Snowling. We wish you long life and happiness and countless blessings in a loving and peaceful world. May you grow to be an adult who is proud, yet humble, bringing delight to your parents, family, friends and everyone who is lucky enough to meet you." See more

23.01.2022 Darran and Lauren postponed their wedding two weeks ago. Flash forward to today when they were catching up online with her friends and family in NZ. I got a call to drop everything and go ahead with a new plan...marry them with just two witnesses in the backyard and the rest attending via Zoom...TODAY! They first met 32 years ago, and I guess they didn't want to wait a minute more! Love found a way. Love won out.

22.01.2022 And we've hit 300 likes! Thank you!

21.01.2022 Just sharing some reviews from my Aust Federation of Civil Celebrants' page. If you or someone know needs a celebrant who will make their ceremony magical, just tap the "Send message" button.

18.01.2022 "Belinda created such a unique & moving ceremony for us. I don't think there were many dry eyes with our guests. I can't thank her enough." Thank YOU, Kate and Brennan xoxo

18.01.2022 For confidentiality reasons I can't post photos from today's ceremony. But I do want to share some beautiful vows which the groom pledged to his step-daughter. There was hardly a dry eye after this! Names withheld. "______, I wasn't there when you took your first steps, but I promise to love and support you through every step you choose to take in your life. I didn’t give you the gift of life. Life gave me the gift of you. ______, will you accept this locket as I promise to be your Daddy for the rest of our lives?"

18.01.2022 Had a very productive business meeting with the lovely Lara, owner of a very local wedding venue. All things going well, we will be looking at some wonderful partnership options between Beloved Ceremonies, Brookfield Retreat and Angie's Angels (events stylist). Available just as accommodation on Airbnb or as a unique venue for medium-small events or elopements, Brookfield Retreat has lots of great features. Of course, I'll still be available to conduct weddings pretty much anywhere and anytime. Looking forward to the start of an exciting new angle to add to my existing business model. https://www.instagram.com/p/Bi1ggWqHaDh/

18.01.2022 First dance. I'm sure Lauren and Darran enjoyed many more dances after I left

18.01.2022 After 22 very happy years together I am so pleased that I was the one to make it all official and legal for this gorgeous family, in a beautiful, backyard DIY event.

17.01.2022 As chance would have it, I was also the bride's primary school teacher-librarian.

16.01.2022 The results are in! https://www.couriermail.com.au//6fd9b981017065c220b5add01f

15.01.2022 Today's ring bearer is about 10 months old. His big sister, the beautiful flower girl, pulled this wagon up the aisle. So cute!

15.01.2022 Some ceremonies involve a bride walking her horse to the ceremony, getting goat poo on your dress, a whole lot of photobombing dogs, and hanging out with snakes. I'm nothing, if not flexible! Thank you SO much to Shiona and Cam for involving me in a wonderful celebration of their love, Cameron and Shiona did it their way, on a Monday afternoon, with about 25-30 of their friends and family in their own backyard, with a minimum of fuss and a maximum number of pizzas. Lots of love to you both xoxo

14.01.2022 I'd totally love to conduct a (non-legally binding) dog wedding! "You may lick the bride." https://www.wkrg.com/ne/therapy-dogs-in-love-tie-the-knot/

14.01.2022 All ready for a beautiful backyard DIY wedding.

14.01.2022 You know you've done slightly TOO good of a job on the ceremony when you, the celebrant, choke up a little bit! Today's was a very special occasion. The bride and groom have been deeply in love with one another for 22 years and have raised three gorgeous kids together. Now, finally, it is time for them to do something special for themselves. Conducting this ceremony really meant a lot to me, and affected me quite deeply. But then, I am a total crybaby. "Brennan and Kate,... as it is your intention to enter into marriage, please now join your hands, and with your hands, your hearts. These are the hands of your best friend, strong and full of love for you, that are holding yours on your wedding day, as you promise to love each other today, tomorrow, and forever. These are the hands that will work alongside yours, as together you build your future. These are the hands that will passionately love you and cherish you throughout the years, and with the slightest touch will comfort you like no other, as they always have. Kate and Brennan, these are the hands that rocked your babies. They will continue to tenderly embrace your children and will hold your family together as one throughout all the days of your life. And lastly, these are the hands, that even when wrinkled and aged, will still be reaching for yours, still giving you the same unspoken tenderness with just a touch. Our wish for you today is that both of you will use these hands to build a marriage where all your dreams come true. And now the time has come for you to exchange lifelong vows with one another." I was okay until I got the the "these are the hands that rocked your babies" bit!

14.01.2022 Congrats, beautiful Maxine and Jimmy

13.01.2022 Sharing some humour in these tricky times

13.01.2022 Thank you for the gorgeous photo Angie's Angels

13.01.2022 Today I conducted another little "just the legals" ceremony for a couple in a park near their house. They are already deeply committed and have a baby together, and are having the B-I-G formal reception in his home country next year, but wanted the Aussie legalities out of the way first. So, I met up with them, two witnesses and their baby girl on a sunny day in the park and now they are husband and wife! It was hassle free for all involved, not to mention less expensive a...nd impersonal than the registry office. Congrats to the happy couple, who shall remain anonymous, at least until everybody is in on their secret! I still love to do big fancy weddings with all of the frills and trimming, but there is also something liberating about popping on my sandals, leaving my PA system at home and making this happen for them, without so much as putting on my makeup. Their cute little bubba was teething on the beads on my necklace - one of my favourite moments of the arvo, for sure! See more

12.01.2022 If you are, or someone you know is thinking of getting married at a registry office, seriously, do not bother. A celebrant can be even cheaper, but more personal. Today I did a legals-only elopement around a kitchen table for a couple, about 2 months since I signed their Notice of Intended Marriage form, with two of their mates as witnesses. The bride's toddler was running about and watching TV in the background. I wore my jeans, and no makeup. This cost them much less than a registry office marriage would have, but I came to their door. I can also put on a dress and create a short-but-sweet, personal, kiss-and-go ceremony for about the same or a touch less than being in a ceremony factory at the registry office.

12.01.2022 Sending off the documents for my last ceremony and I'm trying out the new envelope addressing protocols. :-)

12.01.2022 Thank you so much for this photo, Tanya Love!

12.01.2022 Thank you, Mrs Moore, for the lovely review to my AFCC webpage! xo

12.01.2022 Anyone you know planning a wedding this year?

12.01.2022 I've always prided myself on being a flexible celebrant. Small elopement, big formal event, romantic ceremony, funny and lighthearted...whatever. At 1:15pm I got a call from the bride who cancelled 2 weeks ago. We're going ahead, today! Just 5 of us, socially distancing! Others attending via the magic of Zoom. On my way to the Gold Coast now!

09.01.2022 The bride's sister made a very exciting revelation at the end of the ceremony - she's going to be an auntie in April! <3

09.01.2022 AUSTRALIA SAID YES! LOVE WON!

09.01.2022 Beautiful day, beautiful location

09.01.2022 Kirsty and Rence had a beautiful commitment ceremony on this spot exactly a year ago, conducted by the groom's grandmother.. Congratulations on making it all official and legal today, before you begin the next chapter of your lives together. Wishing you all the best, always

09.01.2022 This is being conducted by My Wedding Wish who gift weddings to couples where at least one party is terminally ill.

09.01.2022 Congratulations to this lovely couple, Kate and Adam. It was an honour to conduct your ceremony. xo

08.01.2022 The meanies made me get back off. Ah, well. At least I got the chance to pull out a whole lot of puns. "Before you set sail on the good ship Marriage, I want to take the opportunity to wish you well for the voyage ahead. I’m sure it won’t always be smooth sailing. There will be times in life you might feel like you are all at sea, like the wind has been taken out of your sails, or like you are not on an even keel. But you will have each other as your first mate, to provide a safe harbour to each other during life’s storms and to keep each other anchored. While it won’t always be cruisy, you will each be there to make sure the other does not go overboard or run aground. Be sure to clear the deck and make time for each other, as life moves along at the rate of knots."

08.01.2022 Just in, a pic of the signing table at Matt and Corinne's wedding.

08.01.2022 Mr and Mrs Andrew and Rhiannon Gillon. I first met Andrew and Rhiannon when I dog-sat Jangles for them. I found out they were engaged and gave them my business card. They were originally going to be married on March 28, but then came Covid to throw a spanner into the works. I will be conducting a vow renewal for them next March when all of their friends and family can be there for a big celebration.. But today we made it legal, with just their witnesses and Jangles, under this tree in their backyard. <3

07.01.2022 I still like this profile on my AFCC mini-site, describing what I am all about as a celebrant. If you have been a client of mine, feel free to add your own review to my reviews section. https://www.afcc.com.au/celebrant/belinda-booth/

06.01.2022 If you watch this vow ceremony you may notice 1) some lovely and sincere personalised vows, 2) how much I love my job, by watching my facial expressions. I genuinely am so happy for you 3) how I am so short that I am easily cut out of the ceremony in video and photos so that it looks like it's all about you in the professional cut.

06.01.2022 Sending out love to everyone who has had their plans thrown out. Love will find a way

06.01.2022 Can you guess where I am conducting a wedding today? Photos to come. Here is your hint: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Qksz72Xtpwc

06.01.2022 Thanks for the fab photo Angie's Angels

06.01.2022 We had to move yesterday's wedding indoors because of the rain and it was a chilly 13 degrees at Mt Tamborine. So I think this White Wedding meme is quite fitting!

05.01.2022 Hey there, past brides! Do you have leftover wedding stuff of any kind taking up space? Would you rather donate it to a really awesome charity instead of having the hassle of trying to sell it? My Wedding Wish gifts weddings to couples directly affected by terminal illness. Whatever we can't use for a wedding we sell to raise money for the stuff our charity doesn't get donations for. If you'd like to help us with your donations of "wedding stuff", email Jenny at [email protected]

05.01.2022 Oooooh - looky! It's the wedding I did 3 weeks ago for Darran and Lauren! https://www.brisbanetimes.com.au//they-were-downtrodden-fo

04.01.2022 Exciting news for Beloved Ceremonies! http://popupeventsvenue.com/

04.01.2022 As Natalie’s auntie, it was the most enormous privilege and honour, and a dream come true, for me to officiate today for her and the delightful Jaydon! The celebrant isn't supposed to get teary during the ceremony, but there was a little moment when it was so very beautiful and I was filled with pride, and my emotions almost escaped out of one eye. Definitely one of the most fun ceremonies I have done, with hilarious personalised surprise vows for one another. Love you guys! #getdownwiththebrowns

04.01.2022 Congratulations to these lovely newlyweds! xo

03.01.2022 Just sayin', but this here celebrant cannot wait till the day she gets to conduct her first same sex marriage ceremony, because love is love.

03.01.2022 Finally got my act together and got some business cards printed. Let me know if you want some to hand out or to have in a holder on the counter of your business.

02.01.2022 Just conducted my first same sex marriage! Congratulations, Vishaal and Oli Singh! Mwah! xo #brisbanewedding #brisbanesswedding #redcliffewedding #redcliffesswedding #marriageequality #twogrooms #belovedceremonies #brisbanecelebrant

01.01.2022 I loved conducting this wedding for this delightful couple! Thank you to Deb Boots for the use of her wonderful photographs :-)

01.01.2022 Two and a half years ago, I became a celebrant to perform a marriage ceremony for a gorgeous couple. I had known the bride since she was an adorable little one year old. Today, on the first birthday of the bride and groom's beautiful little baby girl, I also had the honour of conducting a lovely and heartfelt naming ceremony (with tree planting) for their gorgeous little girl, Alyrah Grace. Though not related by blood, their family is my family. Love you guys, Bree and Joel Little, Danny, Alyrah, Chantal Hochstrasser and Carole Calverley xoxo

01.01.2022 Five years ago today I conducted my first ceremony. This couple and their family are very special and dear to me. Happy anniversary, Joel and Breanna. Love you!
