17.01.2022 We are delighted to announce the appointment of our 2021 Senior Coaches. Both John Akham and Adam Saunders will again be taking the reigns for Sydney Shield and they are joined by Alan Astley who is taking on the A-Grade young guns. Some of the old boys might remember Alan who is rejoining us after 30 odd years in the wilderness (actually he was doing some cool stuff but we won’t talk about that). ... Come at us 2021..... we’re ready.

17.01.2022 An Open Letter to the Belrose 2021 Under 16’s, The last couple of years have been tough. We get it. That’s footy and sometimes that’s life, but we’re here for you and we’ve been working tirelessly for the last couple of months with the Coaching staff and parents to find the right path forward.. With that in mind, we are delighted to introduce you to Charlie Buttrose who will be supporting the current Coaching team in 2021.. and the best bit.. Charlie was once one of you. ... Charlie has an outstanding football pedigree and played for the Roses for 18 years! He’s also had his fair share of rep honours having been selected to play NSW CIS Rugby League AND with the Manly Sea Eagles SG Ball and Holden Cup sides. FUN FACT - He has an obsession with cleaning his footy boots and you’ll never see him take the field in anything else. Welcome Back Charlie! This group of young men are outstanding humans and we just hope they realise how lucky they are to have you helping guide them on their footy journey.

08.01.2022 It was a rough year for our under 14’s. Going from GF’ists every year for the last couple, to toughing out every week is a big ask. Regardless, they had a magical presentation today where there was lots of laughs, fun and camaraderie and what else would you do on a hot day..... play footy. Congratulations, Peter Asprey for making it through a presentation without shedding a tear. For anyone who knows Pete..... it’s a massive achievement and a big day.
