23.01.2022 We are having a big garage sale this weekend. Vintage furniture & china, glassware, fabric, picture frames, tables, single beds, new mattresses, Balinese day bed, books, bric a brac. Open 9 am, no cafe or strawberries, social distancing please.

Plenty to pick, open daily 10 am to 5 pm (Don't forget to wear your mask, one of our first Melbourne visitors came in without one!)

16.01.2022 No more Safari Retreat or Kookaburra Cottage! Council has ruled they have to be registered and the process and cost involved is greater than the return. Planning permits, Flood Overlay, Bushfire Management Overlay, composting toilet cannot be used, cannot empty portable loo into septic, registration under the Public Health and Wellbeing Act 2008 - all of this for mobile accommodation for 6 people. If you would like to buy a tiny house and a portable en-suite, let us know.

13.01.2022 We are using this time to have a cleanout. Fowlers jars (some with lids and clips) for you to preserve fruit. Belstack wooden picking trays $5 each or 5 for $20. Check them out when you get your farm fresh produce. Open 10 to 5pm

12.01.2022 All these strawberries have been picked before the rain! We had over 700 people pick and the patch was cleared by lunchtime! We disappointed a few, but the good news is they will ripen again by next weekend. Thanks again for the amazing response. We are open 10 am to 5 pm daily

12.01.2022 Hi everyone! We have a lot of fresh strawberries picked & packed and have a process how you can buy them safely. 1. Phone through your order (strawberries, figs, zucchini, capsicum, tomatoes, garlic, mixed lettuce, frozen blackberries) on 0429 385 284. 2. Pay using your credit card or transfer to our account. 3. Pick up your order at the front of the shop. An approximate time will help with the freshness of your order. Thanks for your help in making sure our strawberries are not wasted.

09.01.2022 Now Victoria is taking the first steps towards opening, we are closing for the Winter. The strawberries and vegies have finished, the cafe and farmstay accommodation is still not able to be open, so time for us to have a break - at home! However, if you need pumpkins, jam melons, jams or sauces, give us a call to make a time to visit. We will also have a clearing sale when the time is right of all our excess treasures we have cleared out. Kookaburra Cottage, a mobile en-suite and an al fresco bath deck are also for sale. Council has been relentless in its pursuit of us and has ordered that they be removed from the farm. Thanks everyone for your support throughout these difficult times. The old strawberry patch is now a grazing paddock and the new strawberry beds are ready for next season. See you then if not before. Take care!

08.01.2022 We are using the quiet time to get lots of jobs done! Stage 1 in our retirement plan is to have a clean out. So lots of treasures available for sale. Have a quick look while you are picking up your essential fruit and veg. It's sure been a good year to grow a veggie garden, we are feeding ourselves and locals with our organic produce: pumpkins, capsicums, watermelon, silver beet, tomatoes, figs, jam melons, spaghetti squash and strawberries. Stay home over Easter unless you are a local buying essentials

08.01.2022 The end of the Safari Retreat is even sadder. It has taken the resources of the Planning, Building and Health departments of council, and now they want to involve the CFA and Goulburn Broken Catchment Authority to investigate a tent on a deck with a roof that beds 2 people for 1-2 nights on some weekends. They don't get the benefits it offers. Recently we had a couple who needed some private, peaceful time away, but they only had the time between milkings and couldn't go far from home and babysitter. We were happy for them to spend their Sunday at our retreat.

05.01.2022 Morning! We are open every day 10 to 5 so that you can still buy yummy organic strawberries, lettuces, capsicums, cucumbers, zucchinis, tomatoes, garlic and jams. The cafe is closed under the new rules, but we do have takeaway. You know that we rarely have a lot of people here at the same time (groups have been cancelled), so social distancing while you shop is easy, especially when you pick your own in the fresh air. A trip to here from Melbourne or other distant places is really non-essential though. We are relying on locals to keep us open
