19.01.2022 Being a small business owner, the recent Covid 19 lockdown and closure had definitely hit us hard. Our staff had been struggling to put food on the table for the family but we peservered and support each other in any small means and ways we could. With the recent easing measure by the Queensland Government, we were elated to be reopening our business, welcoming our guests back despite the fact that it is financially not viable with maximum of 10 guests at anyone time. But our... passion as restauranteurs drive us to be back for our guests who had been most supportive and for our families to get back on our feet again. Unfortunately, we have ignorant and disgraceful people who made booking of 10 people (which takes up the quota) then reducing to 8 people, eventually to 2 people and in the end, did not turn up. This disgraceful and discourteous behaviour had caused unnecessary waste of time on our part and most importantly, disadvantaged our other guests who genuinely would like to support small local business or who could have a special reason to celebrate by dining out, even in small number. We sincerely hope that you honour the booking you make to any establishment and should you unable to make it, give a call, its that simple. We know its a hard and unprecedented times for everyone.
