19.01.2022 Thank you Phillip Norman for the 7 day favourite image nomination. So I have delved into my Lightroom catalogs and picked out a few images, which wasn't easy. I captured this image on a trip to Bali in 2013. While exploring the rice fields of Ubud early one morning, I noticed this beautiful soul working the rice paddies.... What ensued was one of my all time favourite travel portraits. The stories behind that face and her weathered skin must be incredible.

18.01.2022 This is one of my favourite portraits from our time in Peru. I love the way he is looking out of the frame, creating curiosity about what he is looking at. #peru#machupicchu#southamerica#nature#naturelovers#discoversouthamerica#naturelover#naturephotography#landscape#landscape_lovers#landscapes#landscapelovers#landscapephotography#travel#travelgram#travelphotography#natureaddict#natgeo#worldcaptures#earthphotos#natureporn#picoftheday#naturegram#landscape_captures#seascapes#fineartphotography#lonelyplanet#sunrise#sunset@nikon_australia@nikonusa@nikonphoto

14.01.2022 The incredible combination of low tide, stunning sand ripples and amazing light combined to finally allow me to capture this scene in #inverloch #victoria. I've had my eye on such a scene for many years but the elements never all lined up! I hope you enjoy.

09.01.2022 This is one my favourite images from our adventures in South America ! This was captured from the back carriage of the Lima to Huancayo train, one of the highest in the world! As we approached huancayo there was this incredible storm chasing us! Despite the fact I nearly couldn't breath due to the altitude, I still managed to operate the camera.

02.01.2022 We were recently lucky enough to spend two weeks in the South Island of NZ. What a place. And the weather.....WOW! We did the Routeburn track day walk and had 150mm of rain in 6 hours! Yep, 15 cms. But at the end of the day, that's why this part of the world is beautiful. Here's an image I shot late in the trip on the way back to Queenstown from Milford Sound. We'd camped the night at Mavora Lakes in pretty ordinary weather. On our way out in the morning, I noticed this incre...dible light in the rear view mirror and slammed on the brakes (there were a lot of these moments). The sidelight combined with clearing cloud and fog made for an incredibly atmospheric scene, not to mention the storm clouds framing the Mt Mavora. I hope you enjoy.
