25.01.2022 A productive weekend at BREP with multiple jobs completed. More work this morning prior to AGM at midday.

23.01.2022 Cabin repairs completed during our recent BREP working bee. Hole in the ceiling of Cabin 1 (Wombat) causes most likely by a native animal has now been repaired by magician, carpenter and shareholder extraordinaire, Peter Crozier. Thanks Pete.

21.01.2022 Listen to - and watch - this amazing close-up recording of a lyre bird. I’ve never seen anything like it.

19.01.2022 Our little visitor this morning.

09.01.2022 Our first AGM via Zoom yesterday, with some onsite attendees, appropriately distanced in the Peter Page communal area. New signage too.....

07.01.2022 The Jamberoo Mountain Road remains closed between BREP and Barren Grounds Nature Reserve. However the walk up the road between the barriers is lovely without cars and motor bikes. The walk up to Barren Grounds entrance took us 20 mins today - a great training walk- returning via the BREP forest walk.

07.01.2022 LÉTAPE AAUSTRALIA has been postponed until March 2021. Register now to avoid missing out. And why not enjoy the sights and stay apart of the action and watch the bikes go by here on the Mountain. Book NOW!! Limited spots available. https://www.facebook.com/watch/

04.01.2022 Contrasting moths at Ben Ricketts.

02.01.2022 We have new signage, thanks to Stephen Gye (BREP board member & shareholder) for organising the signs (Simpson signs, Kiama), and Matt Corcoran for installing the signs pronto. Now our guests know what’s what.

01.01.2022 NEW heater for one of our cabins. A wee bit cold here so will be getting a work out I'm sure before winter hits again.

01.01.2022 A walk today with Karlo in the Barren Grounds. The Barren Grounds are anything but barren. Here are some photos of forked sundews (drosera binata). Some having meals. Fascinating to look at the delicate sticky tendrils which fold over their prey.

01.01.2022 SPRING is in the air Our beautiful NEW curtains made by a lovely local Jamberoo Lady, make our cabins just that little EXTRA. We can't WAIT to see you ALL soon.

01.01.2022 Visit to Minnamurra Rainforest, which we haven’t visited for 15 years. Very few visitors in the late afternoon. Quiet and beautiful. Lots of lyrebirds and treeferns. Worth a visit if you haven’t been for a while.
