22.01.2022 Happy Fathers Day to all the Dads out there!! The Team at Ben Verstraaten Bricklaying
21.01.2022 A retaining wall of recycled bricks in The Basin which the owners added a boundary fence to, completing the look.
21.01.2022 In Glen Waverley we have completed a block retaining wall that forms part of the new shed wall, with two piers at the front of the shed done in matching bricks to the house to tie the new to the old. At the front of the property a block entry has been created that also houses meter boxes, and the letterbox with some feature breeze blocks to give it something a little extra.
16.01.2022 Even though a car did a good job of trying to take out this garage in Traralgon, sourcing a close match of bricks will tie this all together nicely once it’s dried.
15.01.2022 Another job for @thirteenbuildinggroup in Murrumbeena, this one will have a lot of feature brick work in it, to start with we’ve completed this external front entry wall.
14.01.2022 Definitely thankful for this lovely weather to get this block work up up and away. The day we started it rained so it all had to be taken down to protect its finish. #perfectionist
13.01.2022 In Cranbourne a window was removed requiring the hole to be bricked in.
12.01.2022 New letterbox build for our Chadstone customer, sourcing bricks to match the house finished this off nicely.
11.01.2022 Our Drouin customer has no access to their garage other than the roller door, so we created a new access door, requiring us to prop the existing brickwork, install the door frame and brick it in.
10.01.2022 After tree roots put this Ormond front fence on a lean, knocking it down and rebuilding it has certainly made it as good as new.
09.01.2022 This beauty came up so well!
09.01.2022 A block retaining wall/garden bed finished off this front yard in Moe.
09.01.2022 Double storey brickwork townhouses in Glen Iris. There sure were a lot of bricks in these!!
09.01.2022 Bricking up this beautiful home was a lot of fun, super high scaffolding was required for the piers and we made good use of a brick elevator to take the pressure off our throwing arms Still a little bit of work to do for our client in the garden with some retaining walls in the front yard.
08.01.2022 An extension in Hughesdale
07.01.2022 In Mount Martha a client needed a garage turned into a bedroom, a steel beam with a lintel welded to it was installed into the brickwork so an opening could be created to give access to the back deck. The garage door was then closed up using a patchwork of materials the client had on site so it could be plastered.
05.01.2022 Our clients in Brighton had a cracked and leaning front fence, so we knocked it down and rebuilt it ready for a new render facelift. We later added new capping to the top of the piers.
04.01.2022 It’s been a long time between posts!! It’s been very busy but the boss kept forgetting to take photos! I now have a phone full of photos to upload, but thought I’d kick it off with a sneak peek at some of our new promo materials!
04.01.2022 A car made a mess of the letterbox at this Traralgon home, we reused the old bricks to recreate the old one for our client.
03.01.2022 Something a bit different on this job, installing a rather large steel beam to support a second storey so a double brick wall could be taken out to open up these lovely rooms.
02.01.2022 Another beauty for @thirteenbuildinggroup in Vermont.
