08.01.2022 Big shoutout to this legend of a bloke Matty Caligari @matthewcaligariphotography for his courage, positive mindset and consistency over the past few months. When I first met this guy I knew we had a long road ahead to recovery. We set in motion a plan of attack that would allow him to do the simplest of tasks pain free and hoped to eventually move to weights. Fast forward 6 weeks and he has completely smashed those previous expectations His range of motion dramatically inc...reased, sleep quality through the roof, metabolism through the roof, getting stronger and leaner day by day, performing virtually every exercise in the gym and now without the immense pain he once felt. 06.01.2022 Take time in warming up your weak points When focusing on a weak area be sure to warm up properly! Half the reason your not growing is probably because you are not taking the time to warm up, stretch and establish mind to muscle connection before your heavy sets. Chest training in the past for me would consist of running straight to the flat bench and lifting too heavy only to be left with a nice front delt/tricep pump and sore shoulder joints ... Why? Lack of blood flow to the intended muscle Minimal or zero mind to muscle connection Tight and fatigued muscle bellies Lack of glycogen, salts and fluid If your having this issue with any muscle weak area or not, go back and make sure you are correcting all of the above. How? Warm up with light weight and use body weight exercises e.g push ups or bodyweight squats Focus on squeezing a certain muscle and push/pull from that intended muscle. Get regular massage, rest and recover after heavy sessions. Go back and revise your nutrition and supplements, get plenty of salt and ensure you are hydrated! I guarantee the next time you train a weak area you will: Feel a much greater pump Feel a greater range of motion Feel more energized Feel a greater mind to muscle connection ............................................................
