This is exciting news for our Scouting community across the country, as it reaffirms what we’ve known for over 113 years Scouting and resilience go hand in hand! We are so pleased to share with you the results of Resilient Youth Australia’s survey into the impact of Scouting on the resilience of young Australians. 18.01.2022 Due to the change in the weather, we think it may be too cold for the splash park tomorrow night, so the Leaders have decided to hold our last night of Joey Scouts for the year at the Rocket Park. Bring along your picnic rug or chair and your picnic tea and we will meet at the Rocket at 5.30pm.

16.01.2022 Hey Joey Mob, Want something different to do on a Sunday afternoon? Tune into Scouts Victoria on Facebook and make dinner for the family. Make sure you have all ingredients ready before 3pm. Non scouting families are very welcome to join in.

15.01.2022 Just a reminder Rovers, Venturers, Scouts, Cubs and Joeys meet tonight at 6pm at the Scout Hall. Wear your uniform with bathers underneath, bring a towel, change of clothes, shoes that can get wet, goggles and a drink bottle. See you all at 6pm

14.01.2022 As you are aware the 5 day lockdown is now in force and this will affect the Joey Scouts. Joey Scouts WILL NOT be meeting this week. Without their ongoing support our Christmas tree sales would not happen. Also a huge thank you to John, Wayne and Alex, without your support the trees would not be delivered. To those who purchased Christmas trees I hope you enjoy them and to those who missed out remember to get your order in earlier next year. 09.01.2022 With Scout Fees due at the end of March, this may be helpful some of our families. The Victorian State Government have announced $200 vouchers to help families... cover the costs of guernseys, shin pads, racquets or club fees. Scouts are on the list of Clubs that are eligible. Applications will open at 10am on Monday 1 March. To apply for a voucher, your child must be aged between four and 18 years old, a Victorian resident, and be named on either an Australian Government Healthcare Card or Pensioner Concession Card. 08.01.2022 Joey Scouts enjoyed a night hike tonight with the Cub Scouts at the Reef Hills. After spotting lots of spiders in webs three Joey Scouts were chair lifted to Cub Scouts in a going up Ceremony. Great night for a night walk.

All you have to... do is call Green N Grow on 5762 2296 and place your order for a 5 to 6 foot real tree and pay $50.00. DELIVERY WILL BE 12TH DECEMBER. The photo attached is from the North Pole Christmas Tree Farm where we purchase them just to give you an idea what they look like. They are beautiful trees and fill the house with the lovely scent of Christmas. All proceeds will go towards the upcoming bathroom renovation in the Scout Hall. See more
