22.01.2022 Stage 3 restrictions begin again from midnight tonight. That means the library will be closed to patrons from tomorrow. We are still able to help you lend a book over the phone or online and you can collect it, just as we did last time. Contact us on 5762 2069 and keep stocked up on reading material during this next quiet period.
21.01.2022 UPDATE: We're sorry. Unfortunately the restrictions have meant we need a little more time to work things out. We'll keep you posted on when the library will open. We're working hard to make it happen as soon as we can. ______________________________ Easing of restrictions will mean that the Benalla Library will reopen on 1 June 2020.... There are still going to be restrictions on how many people we can accommodate and other changes may be necessary. We do look forward to extending our ability to provide library services.

16.01.2022 *The Benalla Library will reopen on Tuesday 16 June.* We’re looking forward to welcoming you back into the Sir Edward ‘Weary’ Dunlop Learning Centre and we’re excited to tell you about how we’re offering our services. When you next visit the Library, things will look a little different. We are now offering RFID borrowing. This allows you to use your membership card to borrow items using Self Loan Stations. The Stations allow you to borrow multiple items in a contactless, quic...k and easy way. Our team are always available to assist. If you can do click and collect, we are still offering this as a service. It’s worked well for many of our patrons and we encourage you to continue using our online system where possible. If you do need to come in, we’ll be open from midday-5pm on weekdays. Due to social distancing requirements, there are strict conditions of entry. We have restrictions on the number of patrons allowed in the Library at the same time. We’re only able to offer borrowing. No other Library services are available yet. If you do need assistance with any other services or enquiries, please contact us on 03 5762 2069.
