21.01.2022 1988 Thancoopie Bicentennial Ceramic Artist visiting the Lagoon Corroboree site at Bontharambo Docker Plains Wangaratta. Thancoopi came from Weipa Cape York but was living in Cairns at the time before visiting the Mural to build her cave seat. She is holding @Lia McCrae-Moore

21.01.2022 1984: Preparing the Mural Float for the Rose Festival Parade. Parked on the Mural site before the demolition of the shop and residence. The shop was used to advertise the Mural initially, and the Residence while having primitive facilities and plumbing was used by the Artist in Residence Judy Lorraine. 13.01.2022 RIP Geoff Oliver OAM Benalla Councillor 1987-2004 died Monday 1 June 2020. Geoff was a great friend to the Mural even before elected as a Councillor.
