25.01.2022 Drink water from the spring where horses drink. The horse will never drink bad water. Lay your bed where the cat sleeps. Eat the fruit that has been touched b...y a worm. Boldly pick the mushroom on which the insects sit. Plant the tree where the mole digs. Build your house where the snake sits to warm itself. Dig your fountain where the birds hide from heat. Go to sleep and wake up at the same time with the birds you will reap all of the days golden grains. Eat more green you will have strong legs and a resistant heart, like the beings of the forest. Swim often and you will feel on earth like the fish in the water. Look at the sky as often as possible and your thoughts will become light and clear. Be quiet a lot, speak little and silence will come in your heart, and your spirit will be calm and full of peace. Saint Seraphim of Sarov Nature is talking to you, are you listening?

25.01.2022 Here it is guys - the official Music Video Clip to my latest single 'In The West! About the song and clip: ‘In The West’ is the third single to be released fr...om Tom Curtain’s fourth studio album, ‘We’re Still Here’ which climbed to No.1 on the Australian iTunes Country Music Charts. ‘In The West’ paints a vivid picture of life on the land, the people, lifestyle, landscapes and experiences. Tom has always lived on the land; from growing up on a mixed beef cattle and cropping farm near Kingaroy, Queensland, to working in the stock-camp on a remote Northern Territory cattle station, followed by years of moving from station-to-station training young horses, and now settling on the outskirts of Katherine, Northern Territory where he owns and operates the national award winning Tourist Attraction ‘Katherine Outback Experience'. Tom wanted this song to celebrate all those things he loves about living on the land. Co-written and produced by Garth Porter, Tom says In The West is a salute to the people out here who have been working and battling for years but are still so grateful and appreciative of the life they lead. This one’s for you! Available to purchase now on iTunes, Apple Music and other digital platforms. Search ‘Tom Curtain In The West’. More information available at www.tomcurtain.com.au. 20.01.2022 Working my way back into art mode with this very lovely #australianbrumby. He is the latest offering in my black paper brumbies collection and a real stunner. B...eautiful action shot, lovely ice blue shine in contrast with the rich red of his coat. He is available if you’d like to become a collector of this brumby series. Beautifully captured In this image by the generous and talented Helmut Kummar Helmut is one of several great photographers who I have developed wonderful working relationships with. Through them I can do this, and by creating brumby art, I am able to be involved in raising brumby profile worldwide and funds for the brumbies too. I invite you to see how each work of art is developed by heading to Spirit of Equine #brumbylivesmatter #yvettefrahn#spiritofequine

19.01.2022 Great to see these brumby warriors fighting the council

19.01.2022 Sunday Playtime for these two BRUMBIES!

18.01.2022 So we have been up limestone Rd for 9 days riding around the bush. We found a few brumbies that were very scared and ran as soon as they saw us. The distressin...g part for us was coming across 3 dead brumbies at rogers hut camping area . 1 had been deliberately burnt to cover it up another 1 had bushes and sticks thrown on it to hide it and the last 1 was left caste in a tree. This one had a bullet wound to its stomach and another bullet wound to the shoulder. A few days later a park ranger came into camp so I told him about the 3 dead brumbies. He told me that parks would have shot them and that it happens every year. The next day we rode to the playgrounds and found another 4 dead brumbies 3 of which again had been covered up. The carcasses looked to have been shot in the last few months . I dont understand how people can deliberately shoot these beautiful wild horses . Its very obvious from us riding around this area that the pigs and deer do much more damage than the horses. We need to do something to stop this cruel slaughter of these wonderful horses. See more

01.01.2022 ‘ ’ Glenworth Valley is a magnificent horse-riding establishment at Peats Ridge where horses can be hired and ridden unsupervised over thousands ...of acres of beautiful pasture. This shot, taken just after daybreak, shows the horses crashing through the creek as the daily round up unfolds. The sun had just broken through the lifting fog as the horses hurtled towards the creek. I was balanced precariously on a gatepost as the horses galloped up the bank from the creek. I had only one chance for this and as the horses thundered through the narrow gate, the reverberating power of their passing almost knocked me from my post. . .
