24.01.2022 Happy New Year to every-one . We are looking forward to meeting you throughout 2014. New Year's Eve was beautiful in Queenscliff with people enjoying a gorgeous evening - going out for dinner, meeting with friends . We enjoyed cocktails and a tasting plate at Salt Gallery- upstairs with a wonderful view. A "must do" next time you are here. We then had fosh and chips at Rip view and watched 2 ships come into the bay. A leisurely stroll took us past the icecream shop and we "licked" our way home. There are lots of visitors in town enjoying the warm sunshine and Queenscliff hospitality so take a break even if just for one night ... it will be worth it!

23.01.2022 December has arrived with a rush and Christmas is looming - we have some great suggestions for Christmas presents. A voucher at Benambra is always well received or what about a voucher on the Eco boat, dinner at one of our restaurants, a fishing trip, when you think of gift ideas think of things to do in Queenscliff. We are having our own late night shopping on Thursday 19th December so come and get some bargains. Music lovers will want to come to "Queens of the Outback" - se...quins, feathers, music, laughter. All for just $39 per person BYO nibbles and drinks. Saturday 25th January @ 8.00pm, Point Lonsdale School Hall, Bowen Road, Pt Lonsdale. 21.01.2022 Summer is coming although it doesn't feel like today ...but now is the time to start planning for that long earned rest. But between now and then there is heaps going on in beautiful Queenscliff. Take an extra day and come and stay with us for Cup weekend. All the Benambra roses are in bloom and you can pretend that you are in Flemington without the crowds! Faulty Towers is on at the Vue Grande Nov 28th Dec 13th &15th call 52581544 to book. ... Stay at Benambra and it is just a 2 minute stroll up the hill. Queenscliff Music Festival is 23rd and 24th Nov and we have a couple of rooms left For those who enjoy fishing, boating on the bay and eating - in no particular order, Benambra is within 5 minutes walk of the marina (vouchers from South Bay Eco Adventures make a great Christmas present as does Sea All Dolphin Swims) and lovely restaurants. Enjoy wonderful sunsets, walks on the beach and just relaxing with a book . "Stay when you can go if you must"

15.01.2022 Cup weekend is almost here - Treat yourself to a long weekend just relaxing, walking on the beach, reading , enjoying a glass of wine in our gorgeous garden. Take a break before the Christmas rush! There is lots to do - if you love a fair come to "Better Gnomes and Gardens" at the Uniting church. There is food, books, trash and treasure and more ...and the weather will be perfect! What's not to like? We still have a vacancy for Queenscliff Music Festival located almost at our back door The roses are blooming , the sun is shining and we saw a pod of dolphins the other day while walking along the beach ....perfect!

15.01.2022 We will enjoy Easter by going to the Eggstravaganza at the Queenscliff Bowling Club. There will be easter egg hunts for the kids and delicious seafood for the grown ups. We have donated a night's accommodation for the auction. All proceeds go to The Children's Hospital. They are hoping to raise $30,000 this year, Join us from 12 noon - 4.00pm . Saturday has the Easter market at Pt. Lonsdale Primary School from 9.00am - 1.00pm. After that we will take it easy - going for walks along the beach, reading, might even catch the ferry across the bay - and lots of eating and drinking. Happy Easter to every-one

14.01.2022 Winter is here - we have our open fire each evening and enjoy relaxing with a glass of something and some gentle music. Today is glorious- warm and sunny after the morning fog. We have just been sitting on our front verandah in the sun, watching the world go by ...it doesn't get much better than this ...

11.01.2022 Only a few more sleeps until Santa comes ! and then holidays Yay.... well not for me, I will be helping you to enjoy a well earned summer break at our beautiful B&B. We still have the cottage available from 5th January and plenty of B&B rooms at this stage - so that way you can choose your favourite room. There is a festive buzz around our little town and Christmas trees are popping up here and there . Don't forget the Jazz on this Saturday - the Dave Gardner swing trio see - [email protected] We have already had some people buy Benambra vouchers as Chrsitmas gifts since last week - makes things so easy and you know the recipients will love their stay !

10.01.2022 Well I am not sure where all this spring weather is .... it is a bit chilly today but summer is just over the horizon - think lazy summer evenings with walks along the beach licking ice-cream from Queenscliff's favourite ice-cream shop or enjoying sitting on the beach enjoying fish and chips! I can't wait - summer is my favourite time of the year - long summer evenings, gorgeous bright mornings then a siesta during the warm afternoon. Come and join me but you will need to book soon

03.01.2022 Today is a beautiful day in Queenscliff. A gentle breeze, the sun is shining and I have just returned from a lovely walk along the beach - the waves lapping on the sand, a couple of ships came in through the Rip and happy people arriving from Sorrento to walk and shop and relax in Queenscliff. Now I am going to sit in my pretty rose garden with a book and while away the afternoon. I bet you wish you were here too !

03.01.2022 Spring is here with lovely warm weather. Queenscliff, Victoria is the ideal place to stroll along the beach, catch the ferry, enjoy eating at any number of restaurants - all within a couple of minutes of Benambra Queenscliff. Choose to stay over night or a few days and take the sea air. You can stay in a B&B room or our self contained 2 bedroom cottage. Christmas is just over the horizon and we are taking bookings for the summer holidays

01.01.2022 Only 8 more sleeps and then holidays for a lot of people. It is always busy in that week between Christmas and New Year - but it is a nice time to take a few days off and go to the beach ! There is always lots to do in Queenscliff and if you are wanting to see in the New Year, Vue Grande are having a New Years Eve function as well as Jack Rabbit in Portarlington. Hopefully we will have lots of warm weather so that you can enjoy the beach or going out on the bay . Lots of people have been enjoying some pre Chrsitmas holidays so tht they can really enjoy Christmas. Whatever you do, we hope it is restful and enjoyable and a special time .
