20.01.2022 The Lake Awoonga Adventure Race is this weekend! The following road closures will be in place at Lake Awoonga this Saturday 17 October: 6am to 10:30am: Awoong...a Dam Road - Riverston Bay turn-off to Public Boat Ramp. 6:25am to 6:45am: Lake Awoonga Main Entrance. Gladstone Area Water Board would like to thank the Gladstone community for their patience and understanding while the event is underway. The closures are necessary to ensure the safety of all Lake Awoonga Adventure Race competitors, officials and support staff. 18.01.2022 The Benaraby Community we need your help. The committee is looking forward to 2021. We have successfully run the Lake Awoonga Adventure Race for two years now and it is a fantastic event, but we know its not for everyone. We run this event to raise money to spend back within our community. So with that said, we have a fantastic community hall that for most of the year sits empty. We need your ideas on what we can do for you, our community .What would you like to see us hold at the hall that will benefit and entertain our community. Think BIG, all ideas and suggestions will be taken into account. PM us or write your ideas below.
