It seeks to capture the vulnerable and raw nature of how I was feeling. There is an appropriate angst to the music that doesn’t resolve, with dark synth sounds, gritty guitars and a yearning vocal with layers that bring much power and convey the ache. I hope this song speaks to people and pushes them to share their aches also, because aching alone is far worse.
