20.01.2022 They’re back! Available as of next week. Beautiful, fresh ‘Bendele Farm Hinterland Ducks’. Bred, hatched, grown and dressed right here on Bendele Farm. Numbers are consistent but limited each week. Contact you stockist!

Our little (but extremely tasty) Bendele Farm Organic Spatchcock nominated by @alannasapwell have received the accolade. Thank you Alanna and to @delicious. Australia for organising the event which allows family farmers like ourselves a podium on which we can showcase our products grown with love. Thank you to all of our loyal customers who love a good home grown chook. And thank you, most importantly, to our superstar team of staff who help us make it all possible.

08.01.2022 Unfortunately one of the many perils of farming.......there are always predators who love our products as much as we do. Although, we constructed an ‘exclusion’ fence some 12 years ago, we obviously stil have some who want to test the boundaries. ‘Foxy Loxy’ has found a bit of temporary fencing where we are renovating a shed. Job for this weekend ....... securing the borders!!!!

04.01.2022 I haven’t roasted a chicken for so long ( we look after our customers first). Cooked this one for Fred’s birthday dinner. OMG, forgot how tasty they are ...... I always worry about a dry breast, but this 2.5kg chook was melt in your mouth. Nothing left but a frame For the pups! Yummo!

04.01.2022 We are an essential food service and the Queensland State Government has informed all our stallholders that we may remain open. We will continue to offer our co...mmunities the opportunity to buy fresh and locally sourced food from known growers and producers, at a time when there is a need to maintain food supply for a healthy diet. We do take the Covid19 situation very seriously and are taking additional measures to minimise the risk of exposure for our stallholders and customers. We are rolling out new procedures, including: Removal of all food sampling and tasting. Removal of all tables and seating to limit lingering and encourage social distancing. Spreading out stalls where possible and widening the walkways Increased hand washing and disinfecting surfaces on all stalls. We ask you, our customers, to please: Not attend the market if you are in a high-risk category, have recently returned from overseas, are feeling unwell or showing symptoms of COVID-19. Not bring your own ‘keep cups’ for now Use the handwashing facilities available Stick to the recommended social distancing advice Thank you to all of our customers for your support of our farmers during this difficult time.
