24.01.2022 Thank you to our 2 amazing HealthWISE nurses for coming out today and educating our students about puberty, oral health and sun safety. We all learnt a lot about the sugar in our drinks and staying sun safe at swimming next week.

24.01.2022 Today is Jayden's last day of Primary School before heading off on his new adventure to High School!! Jayden is a very responsible, hard working student and is Bendemeer Public School's School Captain for 2020, we couldn't be prouder of the young man he has become!! See you at Presentation evening Jayden.

24.01.2022 Wow!! What a great first day at camp!! We have had a swim, kayaked, eaten all our food (plus dessert!) cleaned up and played! We have made new friends and overcome challenges while conquering new adventures! We are off to do some night activities then heading to bed to rest up ready for a brand new day tomorrow

24.01.2022 A big thank you to all the staff at Lake Keepit Sport and Recreation Camp - a special thank you to Scott for being our instructor and fitting so much in for us! We all had a fabulous time and I’m sure it will be early to bed for everyone!! Have a great weekend and we will see everyone back at school on Monday.

22.01.2022 "When the cat is away - the mice will play - AGAIN!" We are having such a fun time here at school, though today we were feeling the heat! We made 'Frog in the Ponds' incorporating concepts from our Maths & Geography lessons, we also enjoyed the story Lester & Clyde reinforcing the sustainability message of looking after our environment and the effects on our native wild life (frogs in particular). We had fun using water play to continue on with our lesson on volume and capacity. This developed into a game of team building challenges and accuracy with water pistols. At the end of our day we had some well deserved free time, reading, playing with Lego, playing doctors and games on the computer.

19.01.2022 Well we are all up, cabin inspection complete, a walk by the lake, some breakfast and now we getting ready for a fun filled day! Stay tuned for an update later in the day ...

18.01.2022 Wow!! What another amazing jam packed day!! Our students have been commended on their positive choices and as such we have been able to fit in extra activities. We tested our aim at archery, did some team building while designing a water raft and watched on as only 1 team made it all the way across the pool. We are currently enjoying some swimming before we head for showers and a trivia night after dinner. There are some tired little people this afternoon so I do believe they will be in bed and asleep a little earlier tonight.

07.01.2022 When the cat is away.. The mice will play! The students had a great day here at BPS yesterday!! We got creative with our writing, thought outside the box for our lesson in measurement (with a well earned water fight along the way! ), as well as testing our skills in some games. We had lots of fun together, lots of laughter, and lots of smiles!!

06.01.2022 Check out our fabulous student's work!! Aidan and Abby have done book jackets and a poster about their favourite books for the library. Way to go - well done kids!!

05.01.2022 Lunch time update ... This morning we have collected fuel, created fire, cooked damper on a stick, tested our balancing skills on the paddle boards and enjoyed a chicken salad wrap for lunch!! Now time to change (again!) and get ready for this afternoon!!
