10.01.2022 BAS Programs Postponed Please see below a letter that was emailed on Monday to all Academy families, athletes, partners and Board members regarding the COVID-19 situation. RE: COVID-19... To all Bendigo Academy of Sport athletes and families, As everyone is aware, we are currently in unchartered waters regarding the spread of the COVID-19 virus and organised sport. Today we have been in discussions with all our sporting partners to determine what is the best approach to take. We have decided that in the best interests of our athletes that all training sessions across all our sports and gym sessions at La Trobe University will be postponed until after Easter [end of the term school holidays]. This decision has not been made lightly and we will review the situation just prior to Easter to monitor moving forward after that. Please note that sessions have been postponed NOT cancelled. The training sessions, gym etc will be rescheduled once we have a clearer understanding of the situation. I thank you all for your ongoing support and co-operation in this matter. We will keep everyone informed as things change. Stay safe and look after those who are the most vulnerable. Thanks
