08.01.2022 The 11th hour on the 11th day of the 11th month is Remembrance day. Today we remember all those who gave their lives for our freedom. Both humans and animals. We wear the traditional red poppy which remembers the human soliders beside the purple poppy which is in remembrance of the animals who also served for our freedom.... These brave animals played a big role in the war. From carrying soliders, sometimes into the heart of the war, to running messages and medicine back and forth to the injured, and having skills such as being able to identify minefields which would save lives. These animals are incredible and today we remember them. Lest we forget.
