25.01.2022 Happy Mother's Day to all the mums. Hope you have a wonderful day, as difficult that it may be.

25.01.2022 After a break of almost 20 years, the "Way of the Cross, Bendigo’s own Passion Play, would have been resurrected tonight. It was to be a live outdoor presentation of the events of the last few days of Jesus’ life on Earth, including the last supper, his arrest, trial, crucifixion and resurrection. You can see in one of the photos the large crowd it attracted. ... Although it won't be happening this year, it is definitely on for next year.

21.01.2022 We know that it is not easy being home, particularly for kids during the school holidays and this can be even more difficult when we have to stay home but for good reason; to protect ourselves and others. The Bendigo Easter Fair Society have posted some fun activities on our website (www.bendigoeasterfairsociety.org.au) for you to print and to help you fill in some time, such as some colouring in pictures and puzzles. Some other activities you might be able to do at home are ...to make dyed Easter eggs (you might need an adult to help you), Easter bonnets, making Easter Bunny, Easter Bunny drawing or painting. Some examples, ideas and links have also been provided on our website. When you have finished, why not show us what you have done or show us some of your other creations on our Facebook page. Stay well, stay safe and have fun.

20.01.2022 As mentioned previously, the Bendigo Easter Fair Society committed to putting on some great entertainment over Easter. Today we were going to have the Teddy Bear's Picnic featuring Humphrey B Bear. We were so excited for this, but we hope to have him for next year. We were also going to have a Cavalcade of Transport and put in a float for tonights parade as well as tomorrows.

20.01.2022 Kennington Dental are one of our proud Gold sponsors and we are so appreciative for this support. Please support this business in these times, they are an outstanding family friendly, welcoming dental practice.

20.01.2022 For the 150th Easter Fair, the Bendigo Easter Fair Society were planning on putting on lots of events. One of those events was going to be the fantastic Japanese drummers. Another was to be tonight, a free concert in Rosalind Park. It was to be an ABBA tribute band, singing the songs we know so well and love. So we have decided to add a song, just to give you the feeling of being there. Almost. Enjoy.... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0dcbw4IEY5w

16.01.2022 I wonder what everyone is doing this Easter weekend in Bendigo? With the event cancelled, it has left many of us filling in time that we would normally have been going on rides, getting some second hand books, visiting the market to name a few and of course having a go at the Bendigo Easter Fair Society's spinning wheel. For this member, I have been busy tiding the garden, washing cars, going for walks for my exercise and basic tiding. And that's just this weekend!

14.01.2022 The Easter Egg Hunt that would normally happen in Rosalind Park might not be happening this morning, but it doesn't mean you can't do a hunt today. Why not try these couple of print outs to find the hidden objects? Have fun.

13.01.2022 The cancellation of the Bendigo Easter Festival also includes the 1920’s Cocktail Ball due to be held the weekend before Easter. If you are a ticket holder you will receive a full refund as soon as possible. Thank you for your patience and understanding as we organise this unexpected process. 02.01.2022 The heartbreaking decision to cancel the 150th Bendigo Easter Fair has been made due to the coronavirus outbreak. The decision follows today’s recommendation from Australia’s Chief Medical Officer that all non-essential mass gatherings over 500 people should be cancelled from Monday to limit the spread of the virus. However, we will be planning a bigger and better Easter in 2021.... Wishing you all well. For more information, visit http://bit.ly/2Q6kWGz
