25.01.2022 THE WAY IT WAS . . . Here’s a pic from our archives (probably 1980’s) of a glider Reg HO. Not sure what type of glider or even where it is. Perhaps someone can enlighten us.

25.01.2022 Signs of wave over Bendigo Gliding Club.

25.01.2022 NAME THE TOWN COMPETITION Bendigo glider pilots head in all directions from Raywood, so these pics could be from anywhere in the region, even interstate. Sorry, no prizes except the respect of fellow pilots for the fact that you are a true XC flier. Which town do you think this is? - remember it may not necessarily be in Victoria.

21.01.2022 THE WAY IT WAS . . . This young bloke is way too good looking to be Paul Dilks. This pic from our archives shows Paul with the club's K-7, probably around 20 years ago.

19.01.2022 THE WAY IT WAS . . . Super Arrow VH-GYS was purchased from GCV in 1988, and remained at Bendigo Gliding Club until 2009. I remember it was light on the controls and a great glider to fly and I'm guessing a number of members have fond memories of it.

17.01.2022 We might not be flying but the sheep don’t seem to mind having the airfield all to themselves. They’re doing a good job keeping the grass down.

16.01.2022 THE BIG AND THE SMALL Frank stands in front of the mighty Nimbus 2 as compared to the little Hutter which is visiting Raywood. Plenty of good XC flights today with heights of around 10000ft reached by some.

14.01.2022 Sunset at the club.

12.01.2022 Still a bit of action at the club. Phil takes the tractor for a run earlier in the week.

11.01.2022 Some of yesterday’s action.

10.01.2022 Bendigo Gliding Club has an ever expanding fleet of gliders, both privately and club owned. Stay tuned for profiles on some of these great machines.

09.01.2022 Nice lineup of gliders on Tuesday. Heights of about 7000ft with an 18kt wind.

08.01.2022 Sky starting to develop. Ventus pushed out. Just another Friday at #bendigoglidingclub

02.01.2022 Just another Friday at #bendigogliding. Ian, Jack and Paul about to launch into a sky that is starting to look reeeealy good. @ Raywood, Victoria, Australia

01.01.2022 When it is a tad damp on the airfield what do you do? Rebuild the cooling system on a tractor of course. For what it is worth it is a Fiat 615. @ Bendigo Gliding Club Inc
