23.01.2022 The countdown is on for this year's Australia Day Market at Lake Weeroona. With almost 100 sites locked in, it's going to be another great year! Keep an eye on the event page to see who you can expect to see at this year's market.

23.01.2022 It is with great sadness that we morn the loss of a friend and Rotarian, Past President George Waters, who passed suddenly last week. Our thoughts are with Bernadette and family at this sad time. George will be remembered for his friendly smile, sense of humour, passion and commitment to the community. Thank you George for sharing a small part of your life with us.

18.01.2022 Love our Easter markets? Well they're back! Join us on Good Friday and Easter Sunday and shop up a storm.

17.01.2022 Don't forget the Rotary Arts and Craft market this weekend. If you don't make it on Good Friday, get in early on the Sunday to plant your chairs ready for the Bendigo Advertiser Gala Parade and browse the stalls while you wait for the action to start.

16.01.2022 An upcoming speaker on November 4th at our regular weekly meeting will be Peter Grose. Peter will be presenting via Zoom from France where he presently resides. Peter Grose is a former journalist, literary agent and publisher. He has published three highly acclaimed books with Allen & Unwin: An Awkward Truth: The bombing of Darwin, February 1942 and A Very Rude Awakening: The night the Japanese midget subs came to Sydney Harbour. His latest work, Ten Rogues, was published in February 2020 and is the story of a band of convicts, a scoundrel by the name of Jimmy Porter, a stolen brig and a daring plan for escape.

09.01.2022 Now here is something new.

08.01.2022 Congratulations to the new joint Club Presidents, Adrian and Toni

08.01.2022 Normally at this time of year our club would be celebrating the changeover of presidents as we charge into a new Rotary year with a range of activities to support or raise money for the local, national and international community. I know it’s not a normal year. So in great Rotary spirit we saw a very low key changeover of presidents on 1 July via Zoom. Outgoing presidents Toni Carrington and Adrian Schoo snuck over to Incoming President Ted Gretgrix to handover the badges of office and club charter. Hopefully we will be able to celebrate a little more formally in person in the not to distant future in the meantime here’s proof it did happen

01.01.2022 Our Good Friday and Easter Sunday markets will be on again this year in Bridge Street and Park Road. Take the time to come and support our talented stall holders!

01.01.2022 More than a dozen Bendigo Sandhurst Rotarians and partners took part in a clean up along the Bendigo Creek bike trail on Friday morning. Although much of the area beside the trail has been mowed And fairly clean, there was a good amount of rubbish collected from the grass and under trees along the Creek edges. It was a worthwhile effort and it felt good to be back undertaking some community service. Special thanks to all volunteers and Rotarian Stewart for organising
