25.01.2022 Bendigo Monthly September Edition Make your vote count and vote for change

25.01.2022 Join us tomorrow night at 7.30pm for the next Virtual Town Hall meeting of the Bendigo Alliance - listening to the people and advocating for the best.

24.01.2022 Big backflip from fees, funding after Alliance and community pressure on council

21.01.2022 Pretty sad ... got a special coverage coming on our website. Note this report does not mention opposition to dud GovHub or protests at site today. Trying to airbrush history or what?

20.01.2022 Join the Bendigo Alliance and our campaign for greater consultation of community by council. Download the membership form

19.01.2022 Last night's Bendigo Alliance Virtual Town Hall meeting raised the issue of current council snubbing community organisations. One example was local brass and pipe bands stripped of their support grant to provide music throughout the year - seven community bands have lost about $25,000 in funding yet council is going to employ 37 more staff! Here's the link to their petition for reinstatement of council recognition.

16.01.2022 Bendigo Council has tonight ended, for now, its disgraceful treatment of the Golden Square community. A majority of councillors have voted to retain the Golden Square pool run by community volunteers. Another botched council consultation process with some councillors flip flopping from month to month and playing community groups off against each other. We find it interesting that Cr Rod Fyffe has had more positions on the pool than the football team.

16.01.2022 Knocking down the building

15.01.2022 Do you support City of Greater Bendigo officer recommendation to close the Golden Square swimming pool?

14.01.2022 Interesting poll on the Bendigo Monthly facebook page.

14.01.2022 Do you believe council is sufficiently independent of governments to put the interests of Bendigo first?

12.01.2022 City of Greater Bendigo satisfaction survey results are in and they are down on previous year. The telling stat is satisfaction with overall council direction fell five points to 48

11.01.2022 You may wish to go to the the Bendigo Advertiser Page and have your say and add your angry face to this Dud Deal.

10.01.2022 Photo taken in Echuca today. Free parking in their CBD and council off street parking. Echuca council helping local businesses and their community for many months. Why didn't the majority of City of Greater Bendigo councillors push to support struggling businesses and our community in Bendigo? NOT GOOD ENOUGH!!

06.01.2022 The Bendigo Alliance does what council won't - we listen and consult to the community

05.01.2022 AUTHORISED MAX TURNER AND LINDSAY SARGEANT

04.01.2022 Now there's another strong message to council. Will they listen to the people?

03.01.2022 Amazing ... in these tough times Geelong council is helping its businesses and residents with free parking. In Bendigo the current council is all about rate increases and 80 new fees and charges.
