25.01.2022 VANITY BENCHTOPS A great article if you are looking for info regarding vanity tops. It does not mention timber though. Timber is a great choice in a bathroom as long as it is correctly sealed. And the choice of colours and finishes in all the surfaces are endless ...

25.01.2022 We have just completed this modern family bathroom. Three different tile selections from National Tiles -the timber look tiles on the feature wall look fabulous. The back to wall freestanding bath has bench space on the back ledge as well as a large niche. This is a compact space but the use of a neutral colour palette creates a spacious feel. There is plenty of storage in the off the floor vanity and the mirrored shaving cabinet. All plumbing fittings and fixtures from Reece Plumbing.

25.01.2022 Compact laundry we have just completed. Using a L-Shaped design has made best use of the space. There is plenty of storage in the cupboards and in the open shelving. The Laminex benchtop provides plenty of work space. And subway tiles continue to be the most used tiles of 2019.

24.01.2022 A brief for an upcoming bathroom was to inject some colour into the room. Tiles, paint, vanity basins? A little bit of research led us to concrete basins and we were pleasantly surprised by the variety of shapes and colours. A choice has been made and you will need to follow our social media to see the finished bathroom in coming weeks. All basins in the article below are made here in Australia by passionate and creative makers in a very sustainable manner.

23.01.2022 We love before and after photos. There is plenty of inspiration in this renovation. The Victorian era arch which previously looked dated now looks fabulous and works so nicely with the new modern and fresh colour scheme. This fantastic renovation was achieved without changing the footprint of the room.

22.01.2022 We have just finished this great tiling job(bathroom reno undertaken by client). Fun floor tiles are paired with marble look wall tiles. Damian has done a great job in lining up the pattern of the floor tiles when tiling over the hob.

22.01.2022 As Central Bendigo and Castlemaine are filled with heritage homes we get the opportunity to carryout a lot of bathroom renovations in what we call really tight spaces. A smaller space demands clever design but that can achieve a well thought out room. Limited space makes you think about the most important requirements in your bathroom. Before consulting a builder or designer having a list of the "must haves" is a good starting point. 21.01.2022 This petite bathroom is one of a 3 bathroom home. There is an en-suite, a bathroom with a bath and a vanity, and this room with a walk-in shower and vanity. The toilet is separate. A simple colour scheme has been achieved with handmade white subway tiles, a neutral floor tile and timber vanity. The feature of the room is the stunning solid granite benchtop with multiple colours running through it. In this instance the owners have used chrome tapware however any of the black or brushed brass tapware currently available would pair perfectly with the stone.

20.01.2022 This ensuite has been given a fabulous makeover. Simple changes to the floor plan included changing the door so it does not open on to face the toilet. Underfloor heating has been added and new translucent glass has been installed to the window. The polymarble shower base has been removed and a large walk-in shower sits in its place. A back to wall toilet with a hidden cistern adds to the modern feel of the room. All the fittings and fixtures are bang on trend - large format floor tiles, timber look wall tiles and marble-look caesarstone. The bathroom has a spacious feel and a soothing natural colour palette.

20.01.2022 This is one of our tiling jobs for a lovely couple who own a heritage home here in Bendigo. We love the choice of the modern floor tiles especially in the kitchen where they contrast beautifully with the old reds. Damian has done a great job to make sure everything looks square. As is often the case in old homes the walls are not square or have moved over the years.

It has been a year like no other and we would appreciate it if you could read through to the end of this post so we can acknowledge everyone that contributes to our small family owned business. We may be small but like many small businesses we feel we have a ripple effect throughout the Bendigo and Castlemaine communities as all our staff and subcontractors live in the Bendigo area and we purchase all ...materials in Bendigo and Castlemaine. We have been very fortunate to be able to continue to work throughout this challenging year. 18.01.2022 This family bathroom has been given a modern update. The bath has been removed and replaced with a large walk-in shower. The new large vanity is where the existing shower was. The removal of the bath has created a lot more usable floor space. The same large format tiles have been used on the floor and the walls and makes the room appear a lot larger. The very large niche is perfect for shampoos and toiletries. the vanity is finished with a luxurious black stone top which will last the life of the bathroom.

17.01.2022 Black & White Ensuite. This ensuite has been given a makeover by pinching a little of bit of room from the wardrobe. Entry is now through a door re-positioned in the centre of the room and facing the beautiful custom made vanity that is topped with a stunning marble stone top. The toilet is to the left and a full size walk-in shower is to the right. The shower houses a ledge that runs the width of the room - plenty of room for lots of toiletries. The perfect sized ensuite even has underfloor heating for those cold winter mornings.

16.01.2022 This powder room sits outside the main family bathroom and as well as servicing the toilet it supplements the bathroom with ample bench space, storage and a large mirror. The benchtop is finished with Silestone Yukon, a quartz composite finish that is very hard wearing. A semi inset vanity basin is functional and positioned to provide lots of bench space. The original hardwood flooring has been retained and looks as good as new. A stunning mosaic tile has been chosen for the splashback.

15.01.2022 This fabulous bathroom is compact but functional. A 600x600mm concrete look tile is used on the floor and one wall. The grey tile (and chrome fittings) with the white tiles and ceramics, and timber vanity and fixtures are a classic in a bathroom. The concrete tiles give a modern feel to the classic colour palette. The use of an open shower with a frameless showerscreen makes the room appear larger than it is. The pre-made timber vanity is paired with custom made shelving, edging to the mirror and a bath caddy (all in timber).

14.01.2022 USE OF UNDERBENCH BASINS. When renovating this small bathroom space was at a premium. Storage was provided in the vanity cabinet and the overhead mirrored shaving cabinet, but there was very little bench space. This situation is the perfect for an underbench vanity basin. It is still a small area but in this case quite a few centimetres of extra bench space has been gained.

13.01.2022 Bathrooms are our specialty but when a client who we have renovated 3 bathrooms and a laundry for asked us to renovate their kitchen we could not say no. The client brief was a timber kitchen to tie in with the timber doors, window and architraves throughout the home. The kitchen has been given a contemporary feel with concrete look solid surface benchtops, black handles and textured marble splashback tiles that reach all the way to ceiling height. The homeowner purchased the Asko appliances and the rangehood is stunning. All cabinetry by Delves Joinery.

12.01.2022 FEATURE TILES ARE A WAY TO MAKE A STATEMENT. This family bathroom is stunning with these amazing feature tiles. The same size tiles have been used on the floor and the walls. A conventional layout with the vanity under the original window which has been painted to match the tile colours. The mirrored shaving cupboard is to the left hand side of the vanity and backs onto the separate toilet. The off the floor vanity provides plenty of floor space and has an easy to maintain vanity top with ample space for accessories. A large walk-in shower including niche completes the room.

11.01.2022 If you need some inspiration - here it is. There are some beautiful bathrooms in this article. A lot are in extremely large bathrooms but lots of the ideas and designs can be in corporated in smaller spaces. A highlight of all the rooms is the perfectly matched tapware.

09.01.2022 This spacious ensuite has been transformed. An irregular shape which now has plenty of floor space. A wall that had previously housed a separate toilet has been removed and the existing spa has also been removed. Once all the other fittings and fixtures had been removed there was quite a large space to work with. There is a very large walk-in shower, a toilet and a generous off the floor vanity. Porcelain tiles have been used on the floor and on one wall and the remainde...r of the tiling is white. Underfloor heating, heated towel rails and a heat lamp make sure there are no cold mornings in this ensuite. The under vanity feature lighting has the added convenience of a sensor just inside the door which makes it ideal for the night trip to the bathroom. 08.01.2022 We are finally getting the chance to share some bathrooms we finished just before Christmas. The family bathroom in this 70's home has been gutted and given a new life. A light and bright room has been created by using high gloss white subway tiles to ceiling height. Timber look floor tiles have been used on the floor and a vanity from Early Settler gives a french provincial feel. The choice of black fittings pop against the white tiles. The layout with the vanity to the left with the in-wall toilet tucked behind, and the shower over the bath on the right leaves plenty of floor space for use by a number of people.

08.01.2022 This family bathroom has a shower, bath and vanity, with a separate toilet. After providing our quotation our clients sourced all the bathroom products from Reece and the tiles from National Tiles. 600x300mm floor tiles are used with hexagonal tiles on the walls. We fitted a new larger window with obscure glass. The corner shower has two sliding doors on each side providing the opportunity to leave both doors open for entry and ventilation. The function of the doors is a real space saver in a small bathroom. There is plenty of storage in the off the floor vanity and the mirrored shaving cabinet. The soft grey palette on the walls creates a calming space.

08.01.2022 This stunning family bathroom has been given the complete makeover - starting with the removal of the spa. There is a quite a lot of floor space available now which allows for a large walk-in shower, a double off the floor vanity and an on trend freestanding bath. Wall space has been used to great effect with an in wall mirrored shaving cabinet and a large wall niche behind the bath and one in the shower. Light charcoal 600x300mm tiles have been used on the floor with a neutral tile in the same size on the walls. The colour palette of timber, white and neutrals is stunning with highlights from the brushed brass tapware and lighting adding a bit of glam. This bathroom has been a few years in the planning with the owners researching and sourcing all the fittings and fixtures and then giving us a call to put it all together.

07.01.2022 We know everyone hates cleaning the bathroom however if you have a newly renovated bathroom it is the perfect time to start a new cleaning regime. We still think light and ventilation in conjunction with regular cleaning helps enormously in deterring dampness and mould buildup in your bathroom. When planning your new bathroom consideration of a simple. open layout without any nooks and crannies will help to make cleaning a whole lot easier.

07.01.2022 We love this fabulous bathroom. Our clients had a definite vision of the renovation they wanted and had chosen all their fittings, fixtures and tiles before the quote stage. 06.01.2022 A black and white tiling job we have just completed. A closer look at the wall tiles shows that they are made in a pressed metal style. They look stunning and a lot of work has gone into the mitred corners.

06.01.2022 This is a true bathroom - in that it has a bath and vanity only. A timber vanity was chosen to match the existing timber window and door. The timber vanity is custom made with 2 large drawers and 2 sets of open pigeon holes for towels, etc. The vanity is topped with a gorgeous slab of stone which will last as long as the house! There is extra storage in the mirrored shaving cupboard which is flanked by understated lighting with a timber backing plate. The freestanding bath is luxurious and deep and the perfect spot to relax.White handmade subway tiles have been used on all walls and reflect the light around the room even though the windows have translucent glass.

04.01.2022 Tiny ensuite - this is quite a small space that has a lot of different finishes. The floor tiles are a timber look-a-like tile, 600x300mm white wall tiles, a feature of wall of white subways laid in a herringbone pattern and a niche tiled with finger mosaic tiles. The Laminex vanity is a similar colour to the floor tiles and the remainder of the fittings and finishes are shades of white. The use of multiple patterns in this room works as the colour scheme is basically two tone.

02.01.2022 This is a tiny bathroom but with a few design features the size appears larger. The shower has its own niche and remains in the same position. The compact vanity is an off the floor style to allow maximum floor space. A skylight has been installed to floor the room with light and the use of larger wall tiles creates the feel of a larger space (less grout lines). The backlit round mirror looks fabulous.

02.01.2022 Not often we do a kitchen but love the chance to do so. This kitchen has a neutral colour palette and a warmth is added with the timber open shelving that ties in with the new timber flooring.
