03.01.2022 Announcement The 2020 Bendigo Bank Be.Bendigo Business Excellence Awards have been postponed until 2021, due to the current COVID-19 restrictions. For 27 years the awards have been an opportunity for Greater Bendigo businesses to reflect on current practices, achievements and receive recognition for their contribution to a vibrant Greater Bendigo.... Over the past five years the awards have been improved and developed by Be.Bendigo. The Bendigo Business Excellence Awards is the only awards program of its kind in the Greater Bendigo Region with the 2019 program attracting over 600 guests to the Gala Dinner held at the All Seasons Resort Hotel. Our major partner Bendigo Bank and all our category partners have been fully supportive of the of the decision and are committed to relaunch the three-month program in 2021 with more than 15 categories available for businesses to apply for. Although it is disappointing current restrictions have halted the 2020 program but Be.Bendigo has continued to support local businesses through this challenging time. Be.Bendigo has ran various business information webinars in partnership with the City of Greater Bendigo, provided support to health workers in partnership with Bendigo Health, St. John of God & Heathcote Health engaging many local business and also been a part of the Cafes for Covid Program which has raised over $8000 to date said Be.Bendigo CEO Dennis Bice. Be.Bendigo has also secured state government funding which will be used to provide additional programs to industries heavily impacted by Covid-19. We will continue to deliver programs such as the Rob Hunt Leadership program, Mentor program and GROW Bendigo program Be.Bendigo will support businesses to collaborate, be innovative through Covid-19 and beyond.
